.I had an AC unit put in and he did all the electrical work. I got a new service box put in. this was 2 months ago. He had to run additional wiring also. He is an older gentlemen who works by himself. His prices are reasonable. He does everything and he is very smart.

He showed up on time to start the work, and began with the added outlets. He and I had discussed where I wanted the outlet on the wall, and had previously decided to use conduit from the distribution box to the wall where the outlet would go. He put a drop cloth on the floor to catch all the dropping and saw dust, then cut the hole in the drywall to put the outlet box in, then drilled the hole through the exterior wall. He ran the conduit, installed the breaker and outlet, sealed the area around the hole in the exterior wall, and tested everything to ensure it worked properly.
I had gone out and purchased a couple of switches for the replacements. Sead had told me ahead of time not to buy anything fancy. Just a simple on off switch would work. He replaced them, and fixed the outlet wiring.
During his time in my house he respected my property and privacy. He cleaned up after himself and did a very professional job. I would reccomend Third Street Electric to anyone, and would have him work on my house again.

Sead, the owner/electrician, did an amazing job from beginning to completion. He met my wife and I on the weekend to provide a quote. He was very thorough in his explanation of the rewire process and timeline. His quote was amazing: $5,500 for a complete rewire, which included wiring for cable, for a 3 bedroom historic home, and it included patching the walls. A competitor quoted $16,000 plus they said it was likely that we needed a new fuse box, but Sead indicated that the new box was optional, and certainly not necessary. He began the work immediately and was flexible along the way; my wife requested some changes to outlet locations and Sead was always accomodating. He completed the work within a couple of weeks. The electrical inspector found a couple of minor issues and Sead came and fixed them within a day. He guarantees his work for a year. He even showed my wife and I how to smooth on plaster, as we had to repair several walls (not related to his electical work). Overall, great experience and Sead was a pleasure to work with. He is now our electrician.

Third Street Electric offered the best price and turnaround. We would use them again for any electrical work.
