+ 0 moreWhen we needed a new interior finish, new tile, and deck resurfacing for our aging pool, a friend recommended we call Tahoe Custom Pools. I'm glad we did! Tahoe Custom Pools is a family-owned business, so there are no pushy salesmen to deal with. The owner, Jim, worked to find the best and most creative solutions for our pool remodeling budget, and didn't try to upsell us or take advantage. The communication was spot on and Jim kept us informed and up to date through each stage of our pool remodel. He was very responsive to every question or call we made to him. We are very happy with our new pool and would highly recommend Jim and the crew at Tahoe! If you're looking for a pool contractor that does great work at fair prices, and is easy to communicate with, call Tahoe Custom Pools!

+ -1 moreJim arrives weekly and comes through our side service gate. He brushes down the pool, checks the chemical balance, adds chemicals, runs the pump and checks for any issues regarding the operation of the pool. If we are home he discusses any issues regarding the pool with us in-person or he contacts us by phone at a later time. His many years of experience with pools makes him an invaluable resource to us.
Description of Work: Jim Sanic, the owner of the company, has provided weekly pool cleaning, repair, remodeling and maintenance of our swimming pool for the last 20 years. We pay $88 per month for the weekly cleaning service and he uses the chemicals that we provide or if we are out of chemicals he uses his own and adds an extra charge to cover his cost. Jim's expertise in all areas of pool maintenance and repair have been invaluable to us over the years. In addition to weekly cleaning he notices any problems with the pool and promptly informs us of the issue and gets it resolved. Our pool was built in 1981 and Jim has been in the pool cleaning/remodeling/repair business for more than 35 years, so he knows how older pools were constructed and the special issues that arise with older pools including issues with in-ground floor heads. In Feb. 2012 he had our pool tested for leaks and the tile cleaned. In 2007 he had our cool-deck resurfaced and painted. In 2005 he had our pool resurfaced with a pebble-tec like surface that has held up well. His pleasant personality, years of experience and honesty make him the best service person we could ever have for our pool.
