Our experience with Superior was poor. We had issues with every step that they performed - the design, measurement, cabinet installation, and counter/ backsplash installation. We were told cabinet installation for our 11x11 kitchen would be 2 and ½ days. It took 3 weeks for the initial installation. We never knew when the sub they hired would show up. He would often show up in the afternoon, work a few hours and then leave. There was an 8” gap (see photo) surrounding our garbage cabinet due to an issue with the measurement and design. Superior did replace it with a wider cabinet but it took 2 additional months (after the initial installation) to get the cabinet and have it installed. The design indicated our built in range/cooktop model however no oven cabinet or supplies to build one was ordered. When this was noticed (by us), Superior told the sub to build one for us out of scrap wood. The quartz countertop was cut incorrectly but installed anyway resulting in multiple seams (differing from contracted design) and a 1” gap at the end of the counter that they filled in with caulk. (see photo) There were pieces of quartz next to each other that differed in color to a very noticeable degree. The overhang on the right counter measured 2 1/4” and the overhang on the left counter measured 1 5/8”. (see photos) The counter and backsplash had to be torn out and replaced. We were promised that the demo/reinstallation would occur the Tuesday of the following week. That changed twice which required us to move flights multiple times to allow my husband to be home for the reinstallation as well as further delaying use of our kitchen. I gave them 2 stars instead of one only because Superior followed through with correcting the mistakes made. However, the stress, extended lack of use of our kitchen, lack of any price reduction for the myriad of mistakes made, and lack of professionalism that we encountered made the experience a very poor one. I would not recommend Superior if you are looking for quality work on a timely basis.

My kitchen was recently finished by Superior Stone and Cabinet and is truly a masterpiece. Thanks to Jeff and his knowledge of cabinetry, i can attest (at this time) that the finished product is quite solid and beautiful. The project progressed quite smoothly from the first estimate to the finished installation. Jeff was even able to accommodate a change I made at the last minute. A follow up was also necessary for a few adjustments. There is a defined system in place at Superior to implement a client's project from start to finish. The work of each of the craftsmen was well coordinated in scheduling - as well, even the delivery gentleman was quite simpatico and delightful; we developed a rapport immediately. The front desk personnel were always kind and helpful. I will be looking into Superior Stone and Cabinet for a future bathroom remodel as well. Thank you to all the staff

Honestly, we were kind of frustrated with the communication with them. Initially, when I got the quote, there was a lot of communication and the person came out a couple of times and measured. I selected them because I thought the estimate was a reasonable price. But then when it was actually time for the work it was kinda more, the quality of the work I felt was good but the communication of when the workers were going to come and how long things would take, that is what was frustrating.
We're actually going to be doing a remodel, a bathroom remodel and we will probably consider using them again even though it was frustrating because now we know what to expect. We just have to be more on top of the communication. The quality of the work was, we were happy with that. There was just a few little issues between the company and the workers that did get rectified.

The representative Steve arrived on time to my home, very professional and polite. The cost of the estimate was reasonable,  a week later I showed up at the warehouse to sign the contract, and pick out my slabs. It was dimly lit in their warehouse, make sure you bring a flashlight so that you don't get a bad slab. I ended up picking a slab with 2 small insignificant scratches and another with a natural blemish that hadn't been worked out of the granite. No big deal though. What bothered me was that when the installers had almost finished for the day they cut the last piece which was about a third of an inch to short to span the gap between the sink slab and the countertop behind my sink. The piece that they cut wrong was to serve as backsplash but they miscalculated the distance, there was nothing that could be done, and not enough left over granite to fix the problem  The installers filled it with silicon and called it a day, however it is really noticeable if your in the kitchen more than a few seconds. My recommendation to anybody using this company is to take a flash light with you to pick your slabs, and make sure the installers understand exactly what you had agreed upon especially if your opting to have any of your back splashes larger than the standard 4 inches. I called Superior Stone and Cabinet  a couple times after the installation, the girl I spoke with said she would pass my information on but I never received a call back. I wish I would of paid a big more and went with a different company.

They were excellent. They carry 4 or 5 different options at that price, and it changes continually. It took them a day to complete the job. I liked that they were very punctual. We went there on a Saturday to talk, and they were there on Wednesday to measure, and they were installing the following Saturday. It worked out really well. The guys that were here were very professional, they set up, they cleaned up their mess, and the end result was very good. They were here at 7 in the morning, and they were gone by 3:30 in the afternoon. They worked really hard to get it done.

Beautiful!  The granite looks fantastic and the value can't be beat.  The installers did a good job with the joints and matching up the pattern.  Even my very picky Dad remarked on the good the workmanship. Unfortunately follow up service was lacking: it was pulling teeth to get them to fix an odd corner.  Admittedly, the corner finish is subjective, but I want MY subjective:)  With some convincing, we finally got the job done and they looked after us very well in the end.  This seems to echo many of the other reviews.  All in all, I'm extremely happy with the job, my kitchen looks gorgeous and it cost far less than Home Depot and a private granite guy who quoted.  I guess Superior can offer such low prices because the granite pieces are pre-finished - and so you only get the one choice of bullnose edge.  That works for me, so I'm delighted.  The installers didn't clean up perfectly, but they worked from 8am-8pm virtually non-stop, and it was dark when they left, so I'm not upset that I found the driveway was dusted with granite dust.  The plumber/electrical/demolishers that they recommended as subcontractors worked out very well.

When it comes time to install granite in my bathrooms, I'd use Superior in a heartbeat.  I just know that I have to be firm with some of the details.

Terrible during installation and now 2 1/2 years later the countertop looks terrible, especially around the sink.  I complained about the installation after they sent only 1 installer to do the whole kitchen.  The way he fit the granite around the corner sink looked like a puzzle had been put together and the seems were wide and ugly.  The installer commented that he could get in trouble for talking to me, but he had never been told to install a countertop that way.   When I talked to the salesman, he was arrogant and at one point told me, the wife, to leave and he would only talk to my husband.  After more discussion, the manager came to the house and, with some more filler, said it was industry standard.  Now the filler they put in at one of the seem corners has come out and the seems have widened.  A call to the company was no help.  They said the warranty had expired and we had to go to Home Depot to get the filler to fix it ourselves, or they could do it for a $200 service charge.
Response from Superior Stone & Cabinet
"Thank you for your business. We are sorry to hear that the looks of the granite has changed. The cost of professional cleaning and polish can cost $hundreds! But there is some good news. This is simple DIY project requires NO tools and about 30 minutes of your time. You will bring the life back to your granite countertop. After 2 1/2 years most countertops will require some cleaning and sealing. We recommend clean it with a granite/stone safe cleaning agent and then use a granite polish spray (similar to waxing a car). This should bring the life back to your granite countertop. This process should take about 30 minutes to 1 hour and there are no tools needed. The cost of the cleaner and a polisher should not cost more than $30 dollars. You should be able to find the cleaner and polish in most home centers. The caulking around the sink will deteriorate due to constant water and chemical use. A good tube of caulking cost around $3-4 will do the trick. Be sure to use a water cleanable caulk, it will make your cleanups much easier. Lastly, don't forget to seal your granite again. A good water based sealer will take minutes to apply. Please follow all instructions on the products you purchase. Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated when use any type of chemicals. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Thank you for your business, if you have any questions on cleaning and maintaining your countertop please call our office and ask for the service manager."

Arrived at Sales Center and Sales person was very helpful. Explained the concept of prefabricated granite and the savings to us. We purchased same day. I mentioned the Angie's list special and the Owner wasn't aware if it. I had to prove the discount by pulling up The website on my phone and they gave it to me. Honestly, I was a bit annoyed that I had to prove this but they gave it to me in the end.

Installation went well and smoothly and everything was great. Only thing I didn't like about the counters was that they use a plywood and glue granite on top. We had a peninsula and if you st on the floor, you could see the plywood on the underside. Maybe all granite is one that way, I don't know.

I called Superior Granite to schedule an appt for an estimate.  David arrived within a couple of days to give us an estimate.  Later that day, we went to Superior's granite warehouse to look at granite slabs.  David wrote up our contract, and we had our granite installed 10 days later when I was on spring break.  David was very friendly and personable.  The installers did show up an hour early (7 a.m.) He gave a recommendation for someone to come out and do the demolition, plumbing, and electrical.  Very professional work!

The whole process went well.  I tore my ACL and had surgery during this process and Hunter was very accommodating.  He came to us with samples so I didn't have to go anywhere.   He explained the process and was very thorough.  We decided that we wanted to move forward so he agreed to meet us back at the showroom later that day to pick the actual granite.  Things are a little different there, they don't have whole slabs of granite, their pieces are already fabricated to the standard counter depth with bull nosed edges.  They may have other edges available but I didn't see them.  This explains their super quick turnaround time.  I had originally picked the cheapest granite available, they are pretty nice for $30sq/ft, but after looking at it for a while I decided to go with a more expensive granite.  The way it breaks down they have a few selections of granite in a few price ranges.  3 or 4 at $30sq/ft, 3 or 4 more at $40sq/ft, a few more at $43sq/ft, and a few more at $50sq/ft.  I ended up going with a $40 sq/ft granite that really looks fantastic.  The installers (Jonathon is who I spoke to) were really nice, showed up on time, communicated when necessary, were polite, cleaned up after themselves.  I really can't say enough about how helpful they were.  I had my surgery between the time of the initial appt and the instillation date so I was really out of it.  The guys went above and beyond to help me out.

We visited Superior Stone and Cabinet on Saturday, September 8, 2012.  John was outstanding and professional in every way.  After receiving an estimate for our kitchen granite, we went to other granite stores for estimates.  The price and service time given to us by Superioe Stone and Cabinet was, by far, the best as was the professionalism of the staff.
On Wednesday, we called John and placed our order.
Wednesday afternoon John came to our home to measure the counters.
Thursday, we went to Superior Stone and Cabinet to select our granite slabs.
Saturday morning, September 15th, a work crew of three arrived at our home by 7:30 AM.  The set up "shop" in our driveway and , worked continuously, taking just one break, until the job was complete at 3:00 PM.  The crew was both pleasant and professional and did an outstanding job!  Not only did they clean up after themselves, sweeping the kitchen and driveway...they even washed off the driveway!
The countertops are amazing!
We can't get over the quick and professional service we received.
We give Superior Stone and Cabinet our hightest recommendation!

Superior Stone was a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning thru completion of my kitchen countertop installation. My salesperson was Jeff, who was friendly, helpful and clearly communicated options, features, costs and timelines. Then we visited the warehouse to check out the wide selections available. After we signed the contract, Jeff contacted my contractor and the installation was scheduled. The installers arrived on schedule and did a superb job! My countertops and island are beautiful. The entire process took less than 5 days between the time I walked in their showroom, until I had my countertops!!! Kudos to Superior Stone & Cabinet!
