The BEST! Although they are advertised as furniture repair, I will tell you my story. Last year I bought an old chair and instead of checking with Angie's list for upholstery, I followed a friend's recommendation. (first mistake) The cost was reasonable, I provided the fabric. When I got it back, it was horrible! The back cushion was 3 inches higher than the back of the chair and the seat cushion was 2 inches longer on one side. When you looked at it, people thought I had reupholstered it and I don't sew! I lived with it for a year and finally could not stand it any longer. I went onto Angie's list and found Speedy Furniture Repair on Indian School. The building is very low key but inside were pieces of furniture being repaired, varnish stripped and the work was great! I showed Manny and Gustavo my chair and Gustavo was horrified at the quality of upholstery! I left the chair. I only wanted 2 cushion redone along with a complicated Chinese chair cushion.( I wanted double binding around the edges on the Chinese cushion.) One week later......VERY SPEEDY....I picked up the chair. Transformed into a lovely piece of furniture and the Chinese cushion is perfect! Although the rest of the chair is poorly done, the 2 beautiful cushions hide the chair's flaws. My dog had done a lot of damage to a pair of 72" long low 1970's sofas and it was finally time for repairs.  I telephoned Speedy (based on the Angie reviews) and had an appointment for an estimate within a short time.  Manny and Gustavo arrived on time and were very careful and thorough in evaluating the damage and calculating whether one sofa could be repaired using the undamaged fabric from both sofas.  They provided an estimate to use the fabric from both to repair one, to rebuild 6 cushions and to add taller legs - an estimate 30% lower than the other estimate I had (not including the 5% Angie discount).  Speedy took both sofas on 1/9 with an estimated return time of 3 weeks.  To my delight, I received a telephone call from Speedy on 1/14 telling me the sofa was finished and setting up a delivery for 1/16. The completed sofa was returned on 1/16 with the work done exactly as promised.  Both gentlemen are clearly knowledgable, very professional and a pleasure to work with as is their office staff.  If I need future work done, Speedy is the company I will call.

They work great now! I have struggled with them for years and now they move easily. They were professional, punctual and I would definitely use them again!

I have rarely dealt with such craftsmen. They are knowledgeable. They are prompt and excellent communicators if something should arise.
They steered me in the right direction when I wanted to go for the high gloss by making a sample board I could live with and learn from. Of course, their recommendation was much wiser.
I even had them come back and work on some doors both interior and exterior which I had purchased from Home Depot. Apparently the manufacturer/vendor of the doors Autumn Wood had gone out of business. The Big Orange Box didn't seem to care my doors were splitting on the joints of the wood. Light and air and bugs flowing in and out. "So sorry" was their response then CLICK.
Once again Gustavo to the rescue. Some magical mixture epoxy (not off the shelf wood putty) and my doors are air and light tight. One door which gets more sun than the others started to get a tiny crack and Gustavo was back here immediately.

We called Speedy Repair and we set an appointment for just a few days away. The time frame was one hour and they showed up on time. They looked at the pieces, told us what they would do, we agreed on a price, and they hauled them away. They told us it could take up to ten days. They called before the week was out and said it was ready for return. We again set a time frame with a one hour range and again, they showed up on time. Our couch and love seat actually sit better than when we first bought them and look just as good. We hope to get another 18 to 20 years use out of them. I wish all companies were this easy to work with. They said what they were going to do and then they delivered exactly that. And they were nice and polite to boot.

I called to see about getting two chairs fixed:  one had the seat separating from the back, the other was just sort of collapsing entirely.  They came promptly within the day after my call, fixed the chairs for a reasonable price, and delivered them back to me within less than two weeks.  Would certainly use them again for any type of furniture repair.

Their promptness, and looking at their reviews, I noticed they had good reviews, so I chose to use them.

They did an awesome job! The repairs are flawless. 

Our three boys (in their younger yeas) used the footboard as a vault to jump onto the bed.  It was in serious need of repair (sagging in the middle etc.)

These guys made it brand new and SO sturdy.  The repair is invisible yet amazingly sturdy.  Ready for another 40 years of wear and tear.

The dining room side chair cushions are completely rebuilt and wonderful.

The guys were on time, polite, took time to discuss options and were genuine professionals and artists.

While pricing is a wee bit high - they are WELL worth the money.

We are using them for more work in the future.

It went very well and I was very pleased. They were very punctual and they kept me informed along the way. They did a beautiful job.

This company is extremely punctual.
They come within the window of time prearranged always.

They look at the damage and provide an accurate estimate.there are no hidden costs.
They pick up and deliver.
The furniture  we have is all wood and of good quality.
The price we paid restore the beauty of the pieces to its original state.
We were reluctant to call a company called speedy furniture repair- we wanted quality not speed
but the name is a misnomer- they are indeed "quality furniture repair"

The damage to the press back  chair occurred nearly 25 years ago.  Once it is refinished like the other 5, you will not be able to tell the difference.  I was amazed.  The refinish process on the mission style chair is beautiful.  The drawers are now sturdy and usab le.  I struggled with the pricing as the cost to repair on most of the pieces exceeded the value of the piece.  However, they have been sitting in my garage useless for quite some time and now can be put back to use.  I have used Speedy Furniture Repair before and certainly will do so again.  These guys are very professional and courteous.

They called and made an appointment. They showed up when the appointment was scheduled. They told me how many days it will be and they are back again in that many days. Their workmanship is excellent. In fact, I am going to use them again. The stools were from a bar that my son went to, all the time when he was in college. They were all split. The bar had sold them off as memorabilia so I bought them.

They were amazing.  I had another well known company come to look at the chair. They said it was impossible to repair.  I showed them the two armchairs and asked about removing the arms, they said impossible.  I was about to replace the chair when I tried Angie's List and found Speedy.  The chair looks like new.  Even if you knew where the damages were, you cannot tell.  And this chair had a difficult finish with crackling and color variation.  They then repaired our dining room table, which did not function well.  It was so difficult to insert the extensions that one leg had broken in the process.  They repaired the leg and repaired the mechanism.  Now it works perfectly.  I was almost sure that the arms could not be removed from two armchairs.  We wanted to use them as sidechairs when we purchased two new armchairs.  "No problem", they said and accomplished it beautifully.  They look great.  These people are craftsmen. And they were pleasant, timely and helpful.  The Best!
