They were on time. They layed quilts on the floor to protect our tile from damage. They picked up extras and put in a box, they were very tidy.

From the time Manny and his assistant walked into my home to the time they left was approx. 1 hr.  Very efficient repaired the chair in my home.  I personally phoned the company in the morning to ascertain if the appt would be closer to 10:30am or the 11:30am slot.  Manny phoned his assistant and informed me closer to 11:30am.  They were prompt at 11:15am, dressed appropriately and professional.  Clean well groomed.  They have my referral for anyone in need of furniture restoration.

I forgot to mention how neat and clean they kept my family room with placing a covering furniture covering on the floor and cleaned up any residual after removing the covering. I was very impressed as a first time user from Angie's List

Company representatives were polite and knowledgeable and explained proposed work very well.  Repairs were expensive but since we don't know how the cost compares with other companies, we have no basis of knowing if they were reasonable in today's market.  Work was completed about a week after promised date but the furniture was delivered at the appointed time for delivery.  (Actually, it was delivered a few minutes early and Speedy Furniture allowed us to choose a delivery time that was convenient for us.)

They were professional, kind, and really lived up to their name, fixing my chairs on a tight turnaround so that I'd have them for Thanksgiving dinner. I highly recommend this company. Really great people.

This company was always on time, if not early,  for their appointments.  They gave reasonable estimates and did great work!

Fixed everything "like new." I give them the highest recommendation...even though their prices may be a bit more than other offering the same work. They will very likely excell!

They were very friendly and very helpful. They came in and assembled my table. It was having some problem but they got it done and I was very satisfied with them. I thought that their price was high but they did a good job.

I have some maple cabinets in the pantry with a natural finish, and wanted to stain them to match the maple cabinets in the kitchen.  Speedy Furniture came and looked at the job, but wouldn't give me a price until they could test out an area on the pantry cabinets.  Keep in mind, the pantry doors are in perfect condition, I just wanted to stain them to match the kitchen.  They took one cabinet door from the pantry and one door from the kitchen that we want to match to their shop, called me in a few days and came back.  

The door from the pantry they stained wasn't even close in shade to the kitchen cabinet, and I told them so.  The kitchen cabinets have a reddish tint to them and the pantry door they stained had a brownish tint -- I do a lot of my own remodeling, and I believe that I could have come closer than that myself.  Plus there was some running of the stain onto the other side of the door -- not a clean looking sample job at all.  And the price they quoted to stain all the pantry cabinets seemed very high.  But in spite of that, maybe if the stain was a knock out match, I would have gone for it anyway.  But as I said, it wasn't even close, so it wasn't even a consideration.  They had done the sample staining of the pantry door on the back side.  They took it back to their shop and were able to remove almost all of the stain, thankfully, and kindly brought it back.  So I was only out the $25 that they charge for service calls.

They were very polite and professional to deal with, but I wasn't impressed at all, with their ability to stain and match.  

Gustavo and Manny were absolutely wonderful, from beginning to end. When I called, they promptly scheduled a visit to examine our poor table, determined on the spot that it could be saved, using a new fabric I supplied, and quoted me the price. I accepted, and they took the table to their workshop, promising that it would be finished in two weeks. Just one week later, they called to say it was finished and to schedule delivery. Once again, prompt as could be--and the work was amazing. Our coffee table is better than new for much less than it would have cost to replace it. Work doesn't get better than this: efficient, professional, as-promised and beautifully executed.

As you can tell from my remarks above, it all went very well. 

They did a great job. They did a phenomenal job. I wrote them a cheque and I don't remember if I wrote one cheque or two. It was cheaper than a new piece of furniture and confined a piece of furniture. They did a fantastic job. Some of the decorative design was coming off and I was missing a couple of pieces. So, they removed one piece at the back and centered the other two pieces so it did not look like it was missing any piece. It looked like it was the way it was supposed to be from the back. They not only stripped it but cleaned it up. They fixed any part that was broken. They put it all together and painted it exactly with the color that I wanted. They also took the care to do the project and did it right by taking the pieces that I had and putting them back on correctly. It was a very detailed job and they had to focus on that. It was stunning and it looked just like the rest of the furniture in my office. It was completely ugly and it was in the garage. I moved it because it was a solid antique that I did not want to get rid of but I hated it. I thought that I would refinish it and now it is beautiful. It also looks like a new piece of furniture. I would not get rid of it now no matter what happens.

Had to have an additional piece of molding made and installed after job was supposedly finished.

Our daughter's antique oak furniture was damaged in a recent move.  The damage ranged from deep gouges and scratches in a bed frame to a broken leg of a night stand.  We called Speedy Furniture Repair largely based on their favorable rating on Angie's List.  They were prompt, courteous, and professional, and they did great work.  We really couldn't tell where the damage had occurred.  The repairs weren't cheap, but the company's great work was worth it.

The phone call I made was responded quickly with an appointment date. 2 Young men came to estimate the cost and we agreed on a price. They returned the chairs which were well re-enforced, with the drawer.

Excellent service.  I was a mildly hacked at the $25 (I think) house call charge to even get an estimate but that was applied to the repair with which I am completely satisfied in all respects.   Bolts were stripped on one side of wood & leather futon rendering it unusable and in a state of near collapse.   Speedy showed right on time, made repairs in the course of an hour and it's as good -or better than new.  Very satisfied with price and service.

The company was very professional, fully understood my needs and delivered on time with excellent quality.  I have two new patio sets and I'm very happy.

Working with Speedy was a great experience.  My call was returned (I initially left a message on Memorial Day Weekend) promptly on Tuesday morning when we set a date for that week for the estimate.  They showed up exactly when they said they would and looked at my table.  I was afraid that it couldn't be saved, but they said it could.  They also pointed out that two of the chairs need work because they were loose and unstable.  They gave me a reasonable estimate (around 1,000 for all work) and a time frame of a week to ten days.  They got the work done in around a week, so they were ahead of schedule.  
   My creaky chairs and scratched table (also creaky) are like new now.  Gustavo took great pains to make sure that everything was level and tight and that I inspected everything carefully before I paid.  Both men were extremely tidy, careful, and professional.  Another winner on Angie's List.

We had a coffee table and two end tables refinished (the tops) and a protective finish applied; that work was done out of the house.  We also had a new door stained and a banister "cleaned up".  Manny and Gustavo (sp?) did a great job.  The outside work was finished as projected and the tables look wonderful...we will enjoy the protective coating so much (should have done it before they were "damaged"!).  The new door looks great...it is a beautiful color.

Listed a "B" for punctuality only because there was a delay one day; that said, Manny called to let us know they were going to be late, which doesn't always happen.

We are thinking of having the kitchen cabinets refinished, and will call  Speedy to bid the job when that decision is made.

We wouldn't hesitate to call again for any furniture work.

These guys were wonderful. They gave us a price and promised to return the following week. They did all work in the house and were prompt and professional. The results are amazing and we are very happy. We will use them again.
