It went terrible.  All the washroom cabinets are with frames instead of being frameless.  I still, after a year's time still do not have the doors on some cabinets.  All of the base kitchen cabinets are with frames, with stiles and mullions which I said that I did not want continuously. He  was unavailable because he said he had other jobs to go to which were more important than mine.  He ruined two door jambs and when he repaired them, he used soft putty which is still not dry.  The plates which he installed on the jambs was not put flush as the hinge was.  The doors that have been installed, do not meet in the middle so that the doors stick out.  The city inspector had to get him to do his work because otherwise I would not have a place to live.
I said to not have any dead spaces.  I have several dead spaces of significant size behind the cabinets.  I do not have an entire large lazy susan in a corner as the plans called for.
Did not follow the plans so that the refrigerator and the oven are on the opposite wall of where they should be.  The granite people had to make a seam in the granite in the island because he did not follow the plans, but the granite people did. The toe kicks are too short. They are not even 2 1/2 inches high.  When I pull put the trash container, I stub my toe.  The sink cabinet was supposed to be level with the window sill and it is not. 
Basically, when I asked for the cabinets to be made with no stiles and no mullions, which means a frameless cabinet, European style, the contractor kept on insisting that I should choose a door style.  Pinnacle Peak Custom Homes paid SimpleHeart and SimpleHeart did not listen to me, the customer.  Simpleheart did not seem to understand the difference between a door style and a stile which is a board on a framed cabinet.
I paid for handles on the cabinets and then I was told that I had to buy the handles to be installed.  I am now using packing tape as handles until he gives me the handles that I choose months ago.  He did install the handles that I bought out of desperation.
The laundry room cabinets are so bad that the sink that we agreed on does not fit.  I do not have a sink in my master bathroom because the cabinets were not made correctly.
He was supposed to make a bank of mirrored medicine cabinets.  I have loose wires where the medicine cabinets are supposed to go so that I could put toothbrushes and hairdryers into the medicine cabinet.

It was an excellent experience. They were clean, prompt and did everything I asked of them. Their price was exactly what they said it was going to be. I was very pleased with everything.

This young man has a great work ethic, his prices are always reasonable, and there is hardly anything dealing with wood that he will not do. He is extremely creative, a problem solver, and works closely with the home owner to provide what is wanted and needed. I think he is just fabulous and very talented.

This young man is phenomenal. He never said no to any of my projects, was creative in providing custom solutions, and the cost was extremely reasonable. He is reliable, timely, and professional.
