Rolly measured the job, gave an estimate, placed the order, then installed the shelves a few weeks later.  I'm very happy with the result.  I wish I'd done this years ago.

We were pleased with the provider from start to finish.  Good quality of the product and installation.  The same person provided the estimate and made several suggestions for ways to utilize their product.  We now wish we had done this years ago.  It makes accessing cooking pots and other items much more accessible than digging through deep shelves to find something hidden in the back.

"Thank you for your review. We feel we can provide better service having the installer provide the estimate and your positive feedback reinforces that Enjoy your shelves!"

He came well on time, in fact, 10 min. early, got right to work, and was finished in a jiffy.  The shelves are great, and the price was right.  Extremely professional.

Chris came out and measured for all the shelves. We agreed on the price and the number of shelves we required. He explained that it would take a couple of weeks to build the shelves and he would call for an appointment to install them. He called and we agreed on today for the install. Chris arrived a bit ahead of time and did the install to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the shelves. I must add that it was a pleasure to work with Chris. We enjoyed the interaction with him and found him to be very personable. He took the time to do the install right but was also prepared and the install went very smoothly. We are very happy and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I would give them an A1 grade.  They gave me a recommendation for a company to install drawer handles throughout the house.

My wife and I wanted to take advantage of the promotion that "Shelves that slide" was having. We had looked around for better pricing, but even without the promotion, this company gave us the best price we could find. We had Chris install 2 sliding shelves in our kitchen area and two in our bathroom area. Chris kept us informed from the day we called in the order right up to the day he came to our home for the installation. Chris had to make a modest adjustment to our cabinet since it required a support brace for the shelves to work properly. This was done easily enough and there were no cosmetic changes that could be seen. We love our new shelves and it is so nice to have these slide out and see what is actually on the shelf.  I have bad knees and it was getting more and more difficult to have to kneel down and try to see what was in the back of the shelf. We are very happy we ordered these and we felt that Chris did a great job for us. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Gabe arrived as scheduled, first to measure, and then a couple of weeks later to install the sliding shelves.  I was a bit disappointed with the quality and appearance of the shelves.  The manufacturer had used wood staples on all four sides of each shelf to attach the plastic covering it.  This, of course, left easily seen staple holes in front of the sliding shelves that mare the appearance of the shelf, especially on the higher pantry shelves.   One of the shelves had a slight dent.  When I pointed it out to Gabe, he pulled the shelf out and turned the dent to the back of the wall.  It was good to know you could do that, but of course that limits me from turning that particular shelf around if something happens to the front of the shelf in the future.
Before Gabe installed the series of pantry shelves, he was unable to calculate the distance that would be remaining between each shelf after it was installed.  This resulted in the need to change the distance between several of the shelves because the resulting space was too small to hold the needed cans/goods.  However, Gabe was willing to make the needed changes. Two of the shelves shipped did not fit the existing stack-able space.  It was necessary to reorder the shelves so I changed it to 3 shorter shelves in the space instead of the two shelves originally shipped.  Because of this it was necessary to remove the existing dividing shelf.  "Sliding Shelves" employees do not do any needed carpentry required other than to install the shelves.
Gabe came back on Monday to install the last 3 shelves allowing me time to have someone remove the existing shelf and time for me to repaint that space.  Gabe removed all of his materials and tools. Each time there was a  light smattering of sawdust and wood splinters remaining so I vacuumed and scrubbed that up.
Overall I really appreciate having shelves that pull out so I can see everything.  I do remain disappointed in the visual appearance of the shelves.
Response from SHELVES THAT SLIDE
"We are sorry that you are not 100% satisfied with your shelves. We bring a sample shelf on our sales calls so you can see what the finished shelves will look like. This sample shelf is manufactured the same as the shelves that were installed in your home. We make all of the shelves ourselves in our facility here in Phoenix, there is no outside manufacturer. There are no staples used anywhere in building the shelves. There is also no plastic covering on the shelves. There are two very small brad nails used in each corner of the shelves. These are the mechanical fastener that are part of the shelf construction. The brads are on the side of the shelves and not really visible unless the shelves are extended and even then they are barely noticeable. The shelves are finished with two coats of lacquer and are hand sanded. We build these shelves to last a lifetime and we warranty them for that long. They would not last very long if there were no mechanical fastener to hold the shelves together. We think the shelves are quite attractive but we put durability and function as our first priorities. After all they do spend most of their lives behind closed cabinet doors. I suspect if you look inside your cabinet you will find some of the hardware used to assemble the cabinet is also visible. Gabe has been installing the shelves for several years and is capable of calculating the space that the shelves will take. He had no problem changing the 9 7/8" shelves that you originally ordered to 4 7/8" shelves. We remade the shelves to the reduced height and Gabe made the return trip with no additional charges. Shelves That Slide employees are willing to do some additional carpentry as needed to install the pullout shelves but the work you wanted was outside of the realm of what Gabe felt comfortable doing. The work involved removing a permanent shelf from the cabinet and that can be part of the cabinet structure. Bringing a handyman to do the work and allowing the inside of the cabinet to be painted before the shelves were installed was the proper way to do the job. Our shelf installers are busy enough doing shelf installations and sales appointments and do not need to take work away from the local handy people. I know Gabe tried to be as clean as possible while doing the installation. There is usually almost no sawdust left behind installing screws. The excepting would be if he was modifying the cabinets cutting out a center stile etc. Gabe said he was aware you were following him around with the dustpan and broom and he tried to be as clean as possible. We hope you find that the shelves make your life easier and help keep your kitchen and pantry cabinets organized. We design and build these shelves so that you should never have any problems with them. If you ever have any problems please do not hesitate to call. We have been installing these shelves in Phoenix for over 20 years"

We chose them for the work after reading their reviews on Angie's List. One technician came out to give me the estimate. I didn't hear back from him and found out that he had left the company. The follow up was not as expected, but they quickly sent someone else to complete the work. Two technicians completed the job in just a couple of hours and left no mess behind. It turned out nice.

It went very well. The sliding shelves are so nice and spacious. Gabe (owner) took care to measure everything precisely so that no glitches would occur. He and another installer came on time and cleaned up after everything.

I really like my shelves that slide and the gentleman who came to take measurements was so nice to offer suggestions that I had not thought of.  The shelves have been in for a couple of months and I can't imagine not having them.  I had back surgery the a few months before having them installed and was not able to get anything from the lower cabinets.  I actually am able to see all my dishes now and know what I have.  I also had some installed in my bathroom and enjoy those.

I love my sliding shelves that were installed!   They are sturdy, open and close smoothly, and make it much easier to organize my kitchen.   Everything went as I was told it would with no delays or surprises.  I highly recommend this company.

The salesman/installer said 'yes' to what I requested and told me it would be 3 weeks to install.  I agreed to purchasing heavier brackets for a couple of shelves due to the weight they would require.  I inquired about having separators in one of the shelves for large trays and was told that could be done (no indicator of an additional cost).  I noticed after he left that 2 additional drawers that I had asked about having built weren't on the estimate form.  I decided to just let it go.  After 3 weeks, I hadn't heard from him, so I called him.  He made an appt. to install the next evening, but didn't have everything he needed to complete the job once he arrived.
He had to come back the following day and completed the job.  When I asked him about the 2 additional drawers, I was told those would be special orders and he was too busy to do them.  I was told they weren't part of the company's inventory, yet I had seen them on the website.   The extra brackets and separators cost us an additional $140, which seemed a bit high, but I'm not going to argue with someone after the fact.
We are happy with the job and very pleased with what was done, but I'd be happier with the 2 extra items I had requested.

Met with first installer who did measurements and gave an estimate.  Was told it could take 4 to 6 weeks but that he expected the order to be ready in less time than that.  5 weeks later, I heard nothing.  I called to check on the order and was told that the installer (Andy )who came to my home no longer worked for them.  Then I learned that he did not turn in my order.  I was asked to fax a copy of the order to their office and they would get it completed and send another installer.  I suggested that this new installer come to do his own measurements. The new installer (Don) came that same afternoon and measured and made a suggestion that would cost less money.  Don said that the order would be expedited immediately and should be ready in 2 weeks.  I was going out of town for a week.  I called when I returned home and reached Don's voice mail.  He returned the call to my voice mail and gave me two dates for installation.  I called back and chose one of the dates and asked that he confirm.  The date that I chose arrived and I had not heard back from Don.  I called him and he told me that someone else had chosen that date.  Now I am really annoyed since he did not respond to let me know that or to arrange another time.  Finally he arrived this past Saturday and began the installation.  One of the shelves was missing and he returned to complete everything yesterday (10/29).  I think all looks and is performing to my satisfaction but it is really too soon to tell.  There is a nick in one of the cabinets that I will need to touch up.
OVERALL, this was a big hassle and I definitely expected better since Angie's List had given them a good rating.

After having called several other shelving places and meeting  with a couple of them, I decided Shelves That Slide was the way to go.  Andy measured, made sure he was ordering what I wanted and gave me the price. I placed my order that day.  A month to the day I ordered  them (Andy said it would be 3-5 weeks) I have a kitchen full of absolutely wonderful pull out shelves.  Andy was a pro from beginning to end.  It is so seldomly you find a service person who does what they say they are going to do that it is a breath of fresh air when someone follows through.  Thank you Andy.  Thank you Shelves That Slide. Plus, Andy said if I ever had any problems to not hesitate to call him;.  I am now going back out to my kitchen and admire my shelves!!!!
