SERVICE FIRST FIRE PROTECTION

Fantastic! Mike was on time, diagnosed the problem immediately, and saved me a lot of money compared to another company that had been out to look at it. Service First is now my "go to" for this type of service~ thank you!

When great. Prompt and professional.

I discovered water dripping from my fire protection system overflow tube at around 10pm on a Thursday evening.  So I did some research and decided to call Service 1st (their website indicates 24/7 responsiveness).  I spoke to a receptionist who had a technician call me back.  After describing the issue, he suspected it was a pressure relief valve and suggested the repair could wait until the next day.  A professional service tech showed up Friday afternoon as agreed and performed the repair in no time.

Contacted Service First on June 9 and was provided complete details of service and cost by a very pleasant, courteous representative who was able to schedule service for the following morning. RJ, one of the owners, provided the service. He called an hour in advance to advise that he would be a bit late. He arrived when he said he would, explained in advance what he would be doing and proceeded to carefully and efficiently complete the repair.
There was a possibility that dry wall would have to be removed, but he worked to access and complete the repair from the attic crawl space without the need for damaging the dry wall. On inspecting the system he found that the pressure gauge was faulty and quickly replaced it. On completion of the work RJ tested the system alarm, walked me through the functioning of the system, showed me how to test it and gave suggestions for ongoing test and maintenance.
The cover for the ceiling sprinkler needed replacing and he did not have one, so offered to send me one. We discuss how they work and when I explained that several others were loose, we agreed for him to send me several more (at a nominal cost).
Overall I was very impressed by the efficiency, professionalism and competence of RJ and his company. They specialize in repair, maintenance and minor extensions to existing residential systems. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
