I had them because they were supposedly the least expensive. I don't have carpets. Everyone quoted me ridiculous amounts of money to clean an cotton area rug. A cotton area rug, you just steam clean it like you do carpet. Its 9x12, and they quoted me ridiculously amounts of money. That and I decided I wanted my upholstery cleaned. I kept looking until I found somebody more reasonable. That was Sears. When they got here, they were trying to bump the prices up on me. They did a good job. He did a good job trying to talk me into spending more. He got everything cleaned for me. I don't want to call him again. On the other hand, I call these other people, but what I need to do is go back to Tucson. The price was better than other people that I talked to. They did a good job. They did respond quickly when I called. Except the part he wanted me to spend more money. I just don't appreciate that.

I will never step into a Sears appliance store again. On March 1 our fridg went out. March 5 a service guy ordered a new compressor and other parts. Parts arrived March 7 but they "couldn't" come back till the 16th. Then they came on the 17th and didn't show on the 18th and came on the 19th and again on the 20. And it's still not fixed and they say they will be back on the 23rd. They have no clue what is wrong and they won't replace it. When do you call it a lemon? Horrible service, each time it's a different guy .

I called Sears Appliance repair service to look at a Sears Kenmore dryer that my tenants said would not start again.
Tenants said it was the same problem they had six months before when Sears repaired it for $160.00.
Sears informed me that the parts only had a 90 day warranty so it was out of warranty.
Sears scheduled an appointment directly with tenants with a 4 hour window from 7-11am.
At 11:30am I, the landlord I received a call from the technician saying he was running late and would be there sometime in the afternoon. He also told me that Sears could no longer take a credit card payment over the phone as they have done in the past.
so now the tenants would have to pay the service technician at the time of service.
I shared with him my concerns that in the first place, one of my tenants have already taken off a half day work and no one has showed up yet and I'm not sure if they are in a position to pay the service call and or repair charges.
I said he would have to contact them to see if they would be there in the afternoon or reshcedule the appointment. Tenants later informed me that they rescheduled twice after that and Sears did not show up either time. Im not impressed with Sears Appliance service. I will not call or use them again. I'm not impressed with the five year old Sears Kenmore electric dryer. I have spent almost as much in repair charges as what I paid for the new dryer. END

This place is the best kept secret for tools and small engine.
Everything I have bought here is covered under warranty. If you are on
the lookout for specials and sale days, their prices are the best. I
have purchased blowers, chainsaw, pressure sprayers and other
miscellaneous parts for appliances that can't be found elsewhere.

Flat happened on a Sunday, which limited my choices as to where I could go; Sears was the only place open. Limited selection of tires in stock. I went with the Falkens. Pretty slow service, but I was happy with the overall experience.

I CONTINUE TO GO TO SEARS FOR CAR BATTERY REPLACEMENT, BECAUSE OF THE TOLL THE EXTREME HEAT IN ARIZONA HAS ON BATTERIES. OFTEN, BATTERIES DO NOT LAST THROUGH THE WARRANTY PERIOD BUT, SEARS IS THE MOST NON-HASSLE COMPANY TO GET A REPLACEMENT BATTERY DURING A WARRANTY PERIOD. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE TO SEARS IS THEY ARE OFTEN UNDER STAFFED IN THE ORDER/PAYMENT AREA AS WELL AS IN THE GARAGE. SO, THE WAIT CAN BE UP TO TWO HOURS.
