Same Day Air Repair LLC

This company was given to us by American Home shield and erik came out and assessed my AC which was not working. First he said that the air compressor was broken and could not repaired and I need new one for 6500.00 and second said rats chewed wires up and this why my air conditioner blew up. Third he said I needed R-22 in the other one it was going cost a minimum of 1800.00. If I needed a new air conditioner I would have spend $14,000 and that the cheapest you can get it. So they sent it to America Home shield and they denied my claim. The other company reported no of this was true. I had another company come in and they filled the R-22 and had the other the compressor running and it only cost me $300.00. He had it done in an hour. So if you use this company beware they will take you for everything. Check out smaller companies that are for people and how much you take you for.

Same Day Air, and their technician Ian, were sub-par from the initial encounter. For context, it was June in Arizona; the temperature regularly exceeded 110 degrees Fahrenheit. At the paid diagnostic appointment, the technician told us that he requires the furnace flue to be moved for an access fee of $695, prior to any work being performed. This would allow the technician to gain access to the blower motor. I chose to perform this portion of the work myself since it took about five minutes to remove a handful of screws. At that point, the company became extremely unreliable, lying to us and having us jump through hoops with no progress in sight. Additionally, the access fee was doubled to $1390 for re-installation. Over the course of three weeks, this company missed four scheduled appointments, one of which, the technician showed up without the ordered parts, the other three were no-shows. During each of the the four days that I take off work to wait for the technician to (not) show up, I attempted calling the office staff for clarification on what was going on. The office staff were kind for the most part, but incapable of getting any status information, speaking to anyone who might have an answer, getting a technician to show up to an appointment, or generally making any progress happen at all. When I pressed that I really needed information or a solution to having no AC for three weeks in AZ, the company told me to find another vendor. Ultimately, I found that the diagnosis was incorrect, and was quickly resolved by a reputable repair vendor. Prior to writing this review, I reached out to the owner/supervisor on duty multiple times prior to writing this review, but I failed to find anyone that was willing to speak with me or return my message. I will stay clear of this business in the future.

First to have Nathen come and let us know why our AC wasn't working and then when they got the request from our Home Warranty. The guys that came and fixed all the issues were so kind and cleaned up. We even had a showing while they were here and I had to leave. They were kind enough to shut the blinds. Roul came back for a follow up when the inspector was saying that something was not working and he checked it out and made sure everything was in working order. Then I had the report from the inspector and got the list of the requests that we needed to get done. I called in a panic and the receptionist was so kind said lets send someone there you can ask questions and go from there. Nathen come and answered helped me get a new request sent in to AHS. And was here to fix it all and made sure that the items on the list that needed a professional were all done up to code. So would recomment them to everyone

My AC wasn’t working put in a request for a technician they called same day and had me scheduled for the following morning was very happy with the assistance I received the phone operators were extremely polite, and the technician was extremely knowledgeable

Amazing company!

Same day Air Repair doesn't even deserve one star. Of course after we have being a paying customer every single month specifically for a AC home warranty, Same Day Air Repair comes out and tells us that the whole AC unit has to be replaced and the home warranty won't contribute to it. The technician Drew tells us he can add Freon to buy some time and charges us $2,500 to do so. He tells us if we decide to purchase a new unit than the company will credit the $2,500 back to us. A few days later and after a dozen high pressure sales calls and text from Drew we decide to go ahead and replace the unit. He said don't worry about the price on the invoice, we will refund the $2,500. Then he promised over and over we would only be charged $12,000. They charge us over $14,000 for the unit and never reimbursed us the $2,500. No word from Drew or anyone to make this right. No one will call us back. So we paid over $16,500 for one unit. This is double what other companies charge. I don't understand how companies can work like this. Completely dishonest. Can't trust a word they say just to make a buck. DO NOT USE SAME DAY AIR AND REPAIR!!!

Ripped me off for thousands of dollars. Tech showed up for a quote on a blower motor installation. The motor and labor was covered by my home warranty company, but the unit was blocked by a beam in the attic. Warranty does not cover access issues, so he gave us a quote to move the unit. He told us that it was a massive job and would take at least 8 hours if not more. He told us they would need to completely replace ALL of the freon which added $1300 to the grand total. He said they would need to install a brand new hanger kit for the unit, some additional replacement copper piping, and potentially some ductwork. He made it seem like it was such a big job which warranted the $4000 dollars we were quoted. It sounded a bit high at the time, but we figured for 8 hours of labor and all of the freon and parts, it made sense. The techs showed up 8 hours late and got to work. They spent slightly more than 2 hours TOTAL working on the unit, which included an hour that was billed to the warranty company. They did not replace the freon, did not install the hanger, and used NO materials. I was charged $4000 dollars based on total and complete fraud for ONE TOTAL HOUR of labor. I called the office Monday to iron it out with the manager, as I figured they just overshot the quote and would remedy it based on the actual amount of work, not the lies we were sold on the quote. It took me over 10 calls to finally speak to the manager. He basically said "you agreed to it and already paid it, nothing else I can do" He lied to me multiple times, spoke down to me, and tried to play mental gymnastics to somehow make the situation make sense. This company is a dishonest fraud of a company, and I have never been more ripped off in my entire life. Not only are they defrauding me personally, but lying and defrauding the home warranty company. In what world does $4000 dollars FOR ONE HOUR worth of labor make sense? Seeing as how they do not want to do the right thing and amend the payment, they intentionally, knowingly, and willing defrauded me and stole from me, and lied directly to my face in my home, and on the phone after giving me the complete runaround.

I wanted a regular maintenance and I saw their truck, so I called them out and they were on time, very polite and discussed options with me. When I stated that I thought their prices were too high I called around and found out that their prices were the lowest that I could find. When Brian came back out and did the repair I was very pleased. A+++
