Renco Roofing was awesome to work with! They were quick to respond to my calls and did a great job! The workers were very respectful. My property was left clean when they were finished. I can trust Renco with my home. They are an honest, hard working crew.

I don’t trust a place that sends a guy out and says the three year old roof Renco installed “isn’t covered by warranty and it’ll be $750 dollars to fix but I can fix on my own time for $350 in a couple of weeks.” Conflict of interest? They actually allow their employees to do that and thus incentivize dishonesty.

In every instance that we have had Renco come to our home they have been prompt, the crews of been courteous, and they have left the job site clean. We have had bird damage and other contractors damage the roof and Renco responded immediately to make repairs. About three years ago we had to move an air conditioner from on the ground to on the roof. The contractor doing the air conditioning said that they would have to cut a hole into the roof and they would need our roofer to be there. I assured him Renco would be there when he asked for it. He laughed and said that would be the first time he'd ever seen that. They cut the hole in the roof and notified me they were going to lunch could I get the roof Jack installed. I had already arranged timing with Renco to be on call and when I asked for them to show up they were there within 30 minutes, installed the roof Jack foamed all of the necessary items. I called the air conditioning people and told him we were ready to go. They have recently added seamless guttering and I just called to ask them to come to our house and give us a bid to replace the gutters that we have that don't work. I am surprised to see the number of negative reviews as in all of the years I've been using Renco I have never encountered anybody who was not on time, courteous, or well-qualified. Our initial contact with Renco actually came as a result of having used one of the major roofers who advertises a great deal on a well-known radio station. The salesman was obnoxious and using high-pressure tactics, at one point he asked if I was really going to bargain and take food out of his children's mouths. We got the price we were looking for and used them anyway. After a year and 1/2 the roof bubbled in so many places it had to be stripped off and redone. The company we had used had gone out of business under that name and opened up under a new name and negated all of their warranties. As I said initially it has been several years and I have used Renco on multiple occasions for multiple types of roofs. None of those have encountered any problems in the installation or in follow-up or in performance of the roof in bad weather.

Roof job good but they did not clean up until complained. Two acts of damage that were not disclosed. Treid to charge over & above contract price. Had to force co to paint metal trim.

There was a delay from we went into contract and when the work was completed, it did take them a few weeks to call us to setup but installation date but once that was completed everything was smooth. We had two different crews come on two different days both were professional and did a good job.

Several workers showed up on time on 12/8 and started the removal and cleaning process.  They continued to work all day and the next day finishing up on the third day.  Everything was done to specifications with all trash, etc removed so as to not even know they had been there working for 3 days.  Excellent job - definitely recommend.

Workers were not on time. Sloppy work caused additional damage to kool deck and existing tile roof. Poor communication at ALL levels even the owner. Do not know if work was completed correctly as it was covered up.

The person who came to our home to offer us information about the services and look at our roof to offer a quote was very professional and well informed also addressed all of our questions.
We had a pretty long lead time to have our services preformed to start.  However, when it came time to have someone contact us to have a specific date assigned for the project the call never came.  I had to contact them to get this information.  Intailly there was no one there I could speak with so I left a message.  No one called me back- Another call was made-  Another message was left.  I was promised that someone would call me with in a couple of days to get this all scheduled.  It took 1 week not a couple of days.  The date that was set up was almost 3 weeks from that date of the call.  The original date to have this get started was 3-4 weeks in total we came upon 6 weeks and still no roof.  
Finally they came -  the day they came it was very cloudy they came very early in the morning and it started to rain just as they were leaving.  The foam or chemical that they spray on the roof needs to dry so the rain would be a problem.  We never had a phone call to discuss this or to see if a problem occurred.  We had a christmas tree in the corner where we had damage and unfortunately the rain came down hard while we were at work and as a result it leaked into my home and stained my slate tile.  We not only had this create a major issue with the floor but we could have had an electrical issue with the water coming into the house right next to a tree filled with lights.  
We contacted the company and spoke to one of the owners.  He came down to our home and concluded that the rain did cause issues with the work that was done and the work would have to be re-done.  He was very upset and apologetic took care of the floors and made sure the new work was done on time.  After all of these issues his professionalism and action plan gave me hope this wold all work out.  We received a bill in the mail and would have sent a check in the mail right away but in a separate envelope we received a threatening letter explaining if we don't pay our bill they can put a lean on our home.  Hope shattered?  After all of the delays and the terrible work performed to start we maintained our patience but the minute I didn't pay a bill within a day of receiving it I AM given a threat.  BAD service, Bad customer service, bad taste.

We had estimates from 3 roofers - one lower and one higher - but RenCo was the only one to actually "walk the roof" and give us detailed information about the condition.    They also agreed to include new batten strips when those were included on our 3rd estimate.    Throughout the process, everyone at RenCo has been very polite, responsive, and professional.   They were very accomodating when charging my credit card, so the 3 installments were spread out.   In addition, the final bill did not exceed the orginal estimate, although 80 additional tiles were needed, and it took two weeks before matching tiles could be located.  

The roof looks like new and we are completely satisfied with their work.   Most importantly,  I know we can call them if there are any leaks or other problems in the future.    Based on previous Angie's List reviews, I was confident in hiring RenCo, and now, having seen the results myself, I am confident in recommending them to others.    

Most of what they have done has not required them to come into the house, so we haven't found it necessary to even set up an appointment. For us, this aspect is terrific.  They show up, fix the problem, and send us a bill.  Some people might not want to do it this way, but they have always offered to set a specific time to come out.  They have also stood by their work when additional "fixing" was necessary.  We will use them again if the need arises.

Renco has done 4 roofs for us over the last 5 years. Our home, my barn, and two rentals. They have honored the warrantee each time an issue like Bird pecks or edge cracks have occurred. They are courteous and they show up on time. We had a new A/C unit installed on the roof and the A/C company told us they would have to stop and wait for the roof guys to show up and get the roof jack installed.I had called Renco and told them the repair would be that day. When I called to say the unit was ready for the roof jack they showed up in 15 minutes and the work as done in 45 minutes, foamed and all. I then had to call the A/C guys who told me they went to another job because the expected the roofer not to show up that day. Renco shows up, they have fair pricing, and they stand by their work.

Good. Prompt on estimates. And I did not really even see them during the repairs.

Renco has not responded to requests  to remedy or provide information.  They their own interpretation of the repairs needed from the engineering report, but have not justified the work according to the report.  Renco, made suggestions to the HOA as to the finish on the balcony, which was a lower grade finish to what was existing.  I called their office to speak to a particular customer service representative and have yet to receive a return call.  I sent emails to them and CC'd in the HOA and the management company and have not gotten a response or resolution.

Excellent service, professional and great follow up

Excellent, came out and gave a competitive quote. Worked with us for project dates, came out to verify and check.

Our roofs ahve been both foam and tile. We have had them reroof both foam and tile and they have been with us now so long they are have done the recoating required for foam roofs. When we had the Aircondtioning moved to the roof the AC guy thjought the roofer would hold them up ans prpared to leave. I told him I had already called Renco and they were preparfed to be on site when required. The AC guy went to lunch and when he returned the roof jack and the refoaming had been done. We had to have the AC guy back several times but the roofing has always been done right the first time every time.

They needed to coordinate with an AC company to make repairs to the roof as the work progressed. We called them one day before they needed to be on the site. They arrived as required and they worked perfectly with the AC people. We recommended them to the AC people who added them to their list of subcontractors. Renco had to time the repairs to our foam roof to meet the installation progress of the AC unit. They met every deadline and the cost was fair and appropriate.

At first we had some initial issues with them, but they were immediately rectified by the owner and they carried on with the job and did a fantastic job, the quality of the work they did was just excellent. I'm really pleased with them.
