Excellent service and work! Great attention to detail. The front door looks like it was painted with a paint sprayer, but they used a brush (incredible skill if you've ever tried it yourself). The entire house (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom) took 5 full days. They started promptly at 7am the first day then asked me if it was ok to start earlier, which I agreed to since it's hot outside. They started at 6:00am Tuesday through Friday and typically worked until 4 or 5 pm (long days in 90-100 degree weather).
They spent the first couple of days preparing the house for paint - this included power washing the house, scraping all the wood, using wood filler and epoxy to fill gaps and deformities in the wood trim. They laid down plastic and taped all the edges of windows and doors to prevent over-spray.
The paint they used was Dunn-Edwards, pretty good quality stuff. They applied three coats of paint to most of the surfaces (especially the trim because it is a dark red and it takes more coats of paint to not look pink).
The price quoted for the job was $1930 - this included paint and labor. I purchased new wood for the fence and the owner purchased the trim for the garage and few odds and ends - he showed me the home depot receipts. This brought the total up to just under $2000.
The house (built in 1977) now looks brand new and updated with more current colors. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Alex and his crew to anyone looking to have their house painted.
