Not effective at all. I have used Moxie and had continuous pest problems for the past two quarters I have had them. I have had them come 3 times in the past month and I am still having activity in my home. It has gotten to a point where we have had bugs for so long we found a tarantula out front. We have tried to work with the account manager Nicole (the only person at the company who can handle account changes) but she is impossible to get ahold of in the 6 times I have called her I have not gotten through and only called back once. After going through their idea of fixing the problem and coming to our house again and still seeing activity they will not make it right and give us a refund for this quarter after giving them 2 quarters of a shot and having them here many times a quarter to solve the problem their way. Don’t waste your money, we now need to pay another company again this quarter. They are unable to get rid of spiders, ear wigs or beetles and impossible to get a hold of someone to help.

First, I will start by stating I gave ample time and opportunity for Moxie to resolve the issue they created before writing this review. I hired Moxie to treat my yard for ants. During the registration and scheduling I requested and stated several times that I did not want poison granules to be spread in my yard because I have very young puppies. I was assured by each Moxie representative that granules would not be placed in my yard. The Field Service Manager that arrived to evaluate my complaint even said to my husband that our account was documented "NO GRANULES". On the morning of 07/16/2021 the service technician, Carlos, came to treat the yard. With my husband standing next to me in front of our security cameras I had a conversation with Carlos about treating my yard. I specifically stated to him I did not want any granules, PERIOD. I reiterated to him again at the end of the conversation and confirmed no granules because I have young puppies. He assured me that he would not treat the yard with anything that would be of danger to my puppies. At that time my husband and I, along with all our dogs left for a bike ride. When we arrived back home Carlos was gone. We opened the front gate to let all the dogs into the backyard. We put away our bikes and walked through the house to the backyard (5 minute span). I enter the backyard witnessing my small 16 week puppies eating a thick layer of granules. I immediately panicked. I contact my vet and they instructed me to take the puppies to the emergency. I contacted Moxie and informed them of the situation. They emailed me the label information of the poison. I then rush them to the emergency. Since we are dealing with poison I had to call the Pet Poison Hotline and file a case. This way the toxicologist and vet can work together for the best treatment for the puppies. The toxicologist and vet decided to keep the puppies and treat them for ingesting poison. Based on the weight of the puppies the amount that they may have consumed could be severely toxic for them. Luckily, the puppies survived. Had I not caught the pups eating the poison we would have had a different turn of events. I contacted Moxie about the reimbursement of the emergency vet bill. I requested a meeting with the owner Austin Clark to discuss the negligence and breach of agreement which caused the emergency visit. I waited a week to be scheduled. This morning I was told that Austin could not meet with me. Sadly, Austin was not available to offer his "customer-focused service" as advertised on the Yelp listing. However, if I emailed them the emergency care report and bill that it would be forwarded to accounting and be reviewed. This afternoon Michael from accounting called me. He informed me that the chemicals that they use would not danger any animals. And that he would offer to cover the cost of my first treatment which was approximately $125.00. I questioned him about paying the full $810.29 emergency bill. He stated that on behalf of Moxie they will not cover the emergency vet bill. In my review on Google & Yelp I posted the label of the poison they spread in my yard. The chemical is Advance 375A EPA Reg No, 499-370. Note on the label in bold it states, "HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS" "PETS MAY BE ATTRACTED TO THIS PRODUCT". I also posted an excerpt from the vet report stating that the toxicologist said the dose ingested could be fatal. It truly disheartens me that Moxie will not take ownership of their mistake. I was patient and pleasant during communication, hoping they would do the right thing. I will pursue legal recourse for reimbursement of the emergency vet care. I will update this review with the outcome. My situation should make every consumer question the integrity of Moxie Pest Control. I do not recommend this company. Moxie is not a trusted business.

We have been using Moxie for about 3 years now. Everything has been fine.

I called them because of rodents in the attic and the claimed expertise and guaranteed results. The pest control was every second month because of supposed superior methods but the price only reduced by 25-30%. The "guaranteed" rodent control was an additional $50 every 2 months. They put poison in the attic crawl space even though I questioned this practice.  The rodents were guaranteed to get thirsty and die outside. Sure enough, my wife and I had to move out for several weeks because of the stench. They were not responsive and when they did come could not find the carcass. When it happened a second time months later I called a rodent control specialist who was quite stunned at what they had done. 

They are great marketers with a good web site.  However, their solicitous behavior, calls and door bell rings start as nice and evolve into annoyance bordering on harassment. They bill online, but then their technicians are instructed to ask for payment PRIOR to every service. We had a different technician pretty much every time they came, so no one got to know the property and house which are both large and custom.  

I have terminated their service, contracted for monthly pest control with another provider and am very sorry I ever got their name from this list and called them.

I'd give it a C. They didn't do the attic. It might be important to go to the attic. I just felt like he was kind of in a hurry to get in and out of there.

Moxie did a great job!  We had a small billing issue that was taken care of immediately.  The office staff and the technician we have worked with were very nice, accomodating and responsive to our pest problems

They would send an email and call before coming to service the yard. 
Always polite and efficient..

They are very good. The technicians are good and timely.

The technician Danny, was very professional and neat in appearance. He did a great job of explaining every step and walked me through the invoice. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions with ease and detail.  On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being best, I'd rate Danny a 5 for his attention to detail and professionalism.

I have used Moxie now for a little over a year.  All in all I'm happy with the service and how well the lack of bugs and pest have been.  The part that I like the most is that they only need to come once a quarter rather than the monthly service I had with Burns Pest Control.  I also like that the Moxie techs only need access to the yard front and back rather than needing someone to be home. I was at first concerned without spraying inside the house that I would see more bugs but that has not been the case.
I had to call back to have them reschedule and come again to complete the quarterly service and that was done today. The tech, Dustin, was professional and friendly and wanted to make sure he covered all my concerns.  I also like the detail the techs do rather than only spraying.   Everyone that I have dealt with from Moxie has been friendly and professional. 
Things I'm not so happy with - I have had 1 time now where the tech said he could not access the backyard although they did have access, and I had to reschedule.  
A little inconvenient that they don't really give any time window on the day of service, but since they do not need access to the house I can work with it. 

I did receive a special New to this area business increasing price. Everything has been great - except they need to  make reminder calls on the routine follow up care. I almost didn't answer the door because I was sleeping (I work nights).

Moxie service is always superb. Today Nate was fast, efficient, friendly and informative. He offered to spray inside as well as outside today and explained the products and what he saw. I've always been impressed with every one of Moxie's servicemen.

Moxie always shows up on time, and are very prompt.  They are also very professional and easy to talk to.  They only negative is that you have to sign a 2 year contract to have their services.  I would recommend Moxie Pest Control to anyone looking for pest control services.

Moxie called to remind me it was time for the quarterly insect pest control treatment of my home.  They conveniently scheduled it for first thing in the morning and Nate, the technician, arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time window.  Upon his arrival, Nate introduced himself at the door and told me he was on-site to provide my quarterly service.  Specifically he asked if I was having any issues that needed special attention at which time I pointed out the giant ant hills forming in the front yard.  He said he would address them while performing the quarterly treatment on the interior and exterior of my home. Nate was complimentary of our home and offered to wear booties to protect the floor but since I was planning to mop the floor today anyhow, I told him not to bother.  He asked if there were any bug problems inside and I told him that since Moxie started regular treatments, the only crawling insects I see inside are no longer crawling or breathing.
