Family owned and operated complete auto/truck repair & service since 1994. We have 2 ASE cert mechanics, and 1 lube tech. Very closely affiliated with a reputable body shop. A/C certified, welding and fabricating done here as well as lift kits installed. Labor rate $100/hr. Electrical diag and check engine diag fees vary. Free Scan of check engine light for Angies list members, ($90 value). We offer rides home within 10miles, and or a ride to Avis for rental cars which offer discounted rates to our customers.

"[member name removed] I wanted to respond to your statements re: "litany of work that we suggested" on your sons 04 chevy impala since you weren't actually here when we inspected his car. We simply inspect EVERY car that comes into our shop to prevent our customers any breakdowns in future, even if it's a simple oil change. Upon inspection of his car, we mentioned his oil level was significantly low due to the multiple oil leaks he had (which isn't uncommon for an older car such as his) but mainly was low due to the last oil change being over 12443 miles ago! That's a really long time. The other things we mentioned were 2 fluid flushes (power steering and brake fluids were black, not red like they should be) along with the serpentine belt which was really cracked and that runs all of his power and steering and cooling systems at once, so if that belt breaks he would get stuck. His air filter was also extremely dirty and the battery was weak (which he said was under warranty) but it was part of the inspection too and it's a good thing we did look further or he would have quite possibly gotten stuck because of the battery. We were simply recommending those things ( which only totaled $412) We even offered to plug the nail in his tire for free which he declined as well. But I remember your son and his car and I didn't think that us recommending those earlier mentioned items to prevent a break down or just preventative maintenance warranted a C rating under professionalism. And you also gave us a C for price which baffled me too because I'm not sure where else you could get an oil change, tire rotation, battery and charging system check, free tire repair and complete inspection and recommendations for $17.95. We have been in business over 20 yrs and I value our customers opinions and comments because that helps us to improve on things, but I really wish you would have called me to discuss his car if you had any questions or concerns rather than giving us that rating. :-( I know he drove all the way from Tempe to our shop because this is an amazing coupon. Thank you for your comments."
When I called the shop I spoke to Dawn, who I found out was the owner. I explain to her the issue with the car. I told her the car had already been diagnose by another repair shop. She gave me an estimate of $293 without tax. Much lower than what the other repair shop quoted my brother. I informed my brother and he brought his car to them the next day. They worked on the car and a reasonable amount of time and the amount of the final invoice was very close to the quote Dawn gave me the day before. They didn't try to "upsell" my brother on unnecessary repair work and they only did the work that was asked of them.
Overall I was very please with their service and my brother was very please as well.

"[Member name removed], We simply recommend services on items that we see are in need of replacement only based on the free inspection you get with your discounted oil change of $17.00. Regardless of the history of your vehicle the actual inspection of the fluids and filters show us the condition and need for attn., for ex: your air filter was black and the brake fluid was as well, that's all we recommended to keep your car at it's best. Also, FYI a Chrysler is a Dodge. Same manufacturer."
