I was very pleased with Moon Valley Lighting's work. Bill responded to my initial RFQ quickly, he showed up on time, and he had great, simple ideas to deal with some of the challenges we found. Work was scheduled and performed quickly, and when he ran into a couple of snags, he just figured it out. No delays, no crazy price increases. The final result looks great, and I will definitely give him a call when it's time to do the back yard.

Bill is wonderful; it could not have been a better or easier experience. Bill understood exactly what we were looking for, came up with a plan on the spot, (he's pretty good with the computer) and did exactly what he said he would, exactly when he said he would do it. He's smart, he's creative, and he really knows what he's doing. On top of that, his prices are incredibly reasonable. It's really a pleasure to hire someone who responds immediately to your phone call, shows up for the first meeting on time, shows up to do the work on time, and gives you exactly what you're looking for at a reasonable price.

Our landscape lights kept tripping the GFI to the point the outlet went bad.  Our neighbor had the same problem and told us converting to LEDs would solve the issue.  When Bill, the owner, came and assessed the job he actually fixed the GFI outlet on the spot without knowing if he would receive the job.  We also had a 3 light lamppost in our back yard that the original landscaper had installed a remote device to turn it on and off.  The device was not reliable and Bill told us it would be very easy and reasonable to install a switch on it (and he was right!).  We did receive 2 other bids for the job but both were significantly higher and were suggesting we replace all our lighting.  Bill understood we really didn't want to make that kind of investment since our lights were relatively new and he provided us with the perfect solution.  

After the job was finished, Bill told us to check the lighting the next few evenings and let him know if any adjustments were needed.  He was right--we had a few minor adjustments that his crew came and fixed the following week when they were back in our area.

Moon Valley Lighting is a very reliable and professional organization and Bill is a very nice man.  His wife Linda was very helpful as well (she manages the office).  We would definitely recommend them as well as use them for any future landscape lighting needs.

 

    

Bill was tremendous. Extremely knowledgeable, with excellent ideas on lighting design/balance and technical know how.
I rarely write reviews, but people should know that this guy is really good; and, that seems to be a rarity with outdoor residential lighting, which can be a bit tricky.

Only regret was that we did not find and hire sooner...should win all awards he would qualify for...Attention to EVERY detail, and knowledge of landscaping lighting is exceptional...there is no other choice for this type of work...THANK YOU so very much to Bill and his outstanding crew.

They were here at the specified time for both the quote and the install.  Everything happened exactly as I was told and I am very happy with the results.

I got a hold of him yesterday and contacted me this morning then came back and did the job.  He was knowledgeable, prompt, accommodating, and polite.  It took about two hours.  It looks beautiful they did a great job and left the area clean.

They did an excellent job and performed all services as agreed. Would highly recommend their services.

Bill and his crew were a pleasure to deal with and really clearly presented me with various options (repair vs. replace with updated system), helping me figure out what was the wisest option for me at this time (my house was going up for sale).  I had given up on my outdoor lighting because I just seemed to have constant issues (and all the expensive bulbs had burned out very quickly).  It has been almost a year since Moon Valley worked on my lighting and it works as great as ever.  I look forward to working with them in the future.

They did an excellent job. The lighting exceeds our expectations. Their attention to detail is great, and the cleanup they did made our yard look better than when they arrived. Bill really worked with us to fix our problem as economically as possible with a beautiful, professional result. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I wish I could give Bill an A+ on this review, but A is the highest I can offer. He and his team were punctual, responsive, understanding of our schedule, and we could not be happier with the customer service and attention to detail. The lighting and effects from the lighting are PHENOMENAL and surpassed our expectations. I would highly recommend Moon Valley Lighting!

From beginning to end Bill was fantastic to work with.  He came up with plan that would produce the result we were looking for. He was able to keep the cost of the project down by converting our old fixtures to LED.  He repositioned the old fixtures to less visible locations and placed the newer fixtures around the entry of our home and main outdoor living spaces.  We couldn't be more pleased.

After Bill quoted us on repair, we wanted a price on a new landscaping lighting.  Bill provided us different options based on quality and budget. We did not get a second quote as we felt he was very informative which help us make the decision to replace the existing system as the repair was going to be about 1/4 price of a new system, and it still left us with a old system with no guarantees. Bill was really on top of our request plus he also was helpful with his own ideas and thoughts on improving our landscape.  Not only were we happy with the positioning of the lighting, the quality and value has met our expectations. After he finished the work we had some problems with our irrigation system thinking it that his install may have damaged it, and it was not his fault. But Bill still came out check it and discovered our water system was not repaired correctly (wife hired a different service earlier). Bill found the problem and repaired it , no charge.  We maybe adding some lighting to a new area in the front of the house and we will call no one else then Moon Valley Lighting, and deal with Bill.

SAVE YOUR TIME!! HIRE MOON VALLEY LIGHTING!! The owner Bill completed all the work and was absolutely amazing.  We have had multiple outdoor lighting issues, in which we have hired several outdoor lighting companies and electricians to repair, all with no luck.  I wish I would have saved my time and the hassle and hired Moon Valley Lighting from the beginning!  Bill showed up the next day to give us a free estimate and look at the issues we were having.  He seemed very knowledgable, and knew exactly what the issues were.  He returned to complete the job-and did an amazing job, repairing multiple different lights and even fixing an indoor lighting issue we had! I will only be calling Moon Valley Lighting in the future!

Everything about my experience with Moon Valley Lighting was amazing.  Bill provided the most competitive bid for the work and I could tell from the very beginning that Bill was going to do a great job.  We already had an architectural plan and Bill bid to the plan so we could evaluate against other bids.  He knows his business exceptionally well and provided valuable opinions and suggestions to make the end result better for the community.  Everything went very smoothly from beginning to end.  They offer a maintenance plan which is going to be perfect for the HOA.
