Transmission needed replacement.. So I was told. The car had an extended warranty so they looked forward to doing the work. I had already paid for it. As a female I don't trust mechanics or auto salesmen from my own experience. So far the car runs just fine and although it took them several days to get the parts, the rental they provided was also paid for. And a very nice rental at that. All in all, I was very happy with midway Nissan.

We use a specific service technician there and his name is Michael Rios. It is dealership and they have been phenomenal about taking care of our car. We have heard comments about taking cars to dealerships but they have been very good, and very professional. They could probably be a little bit on the upper range of expenses for things but again they have taken excellent care of our car. They always wash it before you get it and they are very professional Their waiting area is very user friendly and they supply donuts and cookies for free and they are very willing to talk to you if something is going to be over the estimate, they will come and share that information with you and let you make the decision of whether or not you want to do something then or later. We have been very pleased with them.

I was looking for a Nissan Leaf, and Midway was the closest dealer to my house, so I decided to give them a try. It was, quite possibly, the worst sales experience I've ever had, and I mean any sales experience, not just cars. After test driving the Leaf we sat down, he talked to his manager, and he brought back a piece of paper that I should have wadded up and threw at him. The price he had quoted me earlier was now $5,000 higher. I said absolutely not, so he kept shuffling back and forth between me and the manager . . . for four solid hours. They knew nothing about the car or lease, even after I explained the lease to them, and they kept coming back with $850/month payments, which was $500 higher than Nissan's advertisements for the car. The next day (after I had bought a Leaf from another dealer), the finance manager wrote me back and said he had the lease figured out. Brilliant. Another one of the employees there, who was some kind of manager, told me that my current car, a Honda Fit, was a student's or granny's car. There's nothing I like more when I'm spending nearly $40K than being insulted. I was gobsmacked. I really wanted the car, so I kept sticking around, and finally I agreed to a price, contingent on them removing a giant sticker from the car that said something pretentious about it being electric. I love my electric car, but I don't want to be a jerk about it, or tacky. The sticker was a $250 add-on, and I wasn't haggling about the price of the car at all, fully willing to pay list, except for this $5 sticker which I was not going to buy for $250. They refused to budge even a dollar, so I left in bewildered disgust. The next day we went to Avondale Nissan and bought a new Leaf and we will never go back to any dealership owned by the group that owns Midway. Jerks.

See above. They lied about the price, lied about "round trip airline tickets" I would receive if I bought the car and lied about the financing (I had them pull my credit report BEFORE I drove out there, and they told me a specific percentage. When I got there, they offered me 1.5% higher. Finally, we settled on half a percentage higher than they had explicitly offered over the phone. And the only way I got that was by walking out.

THE WORK SEEMED EXPENSIVE. I DID NOT RECEIVE VERY CLEAR FOLLOW-UP AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED. ADDITIONALLY, WE ORDERED A PART AND WERE NOT CONTACTED WHEN THE PART ARRIVED. THE WORK THAT THEY DID COMPLETE WAS DONE PROPERLY.
