Metzger’s Painting did a wonderful job painting our homes! They were professional, friendly, attentive, and thorough. And they cleaned up well after they finished. We could not have asked for more! Highly recommend!!!

Metzger did an excellent job from start to finish. There are many choices when it comes to painting companies around the valley. But this is a must keep in the Rolodex for sure! Their pricing was fantastic and their end product exceeded expectations. We look forward to working with them again on any future painting project.

Metzger helped us figure out what needed to be repainted for the exterior of our house and what did not. There was never any "hard sell." We changed our minds a couple of times, so they had to come back for re-estimates, but they never complained about that or put pressure on us. After we accepted their bid, they showed up on time, worked efficiently, and always left the work area clean. The end result looks great!

Response time for quote was timely, the person arriving at the house for the quote was on time and professional. The cost was very similar to another company I was favoring but would not allow to do the work because the license and bonding information presented did not match the company name, so I chose Metzgers. The work was to repair 1) a long crack in the ceiling between large two rooms (this was the reason to get the work done), 2) two ceiling cracks between light fixtures, 3) crack in a wall between two windows (vertically). Ben (the work supervisor) appeared on the morning of the scheduled work day along with the person that was to perform the work. Ben said that person would perform the work and Ben would be by at the end of the day to review it, then he left. The work was performed, poorly, and the person that did the work left. The cracks were "gone" but in their place were high ridges, where it was very obvious "repairs" had been made. In addition, the texturing was very poorly done as well, as in, very little texturing at all. Ben never returned, He never called. He never returned my calls. The appointment was 12/11, before the holidays, and I needed to paint the ceiling because company was arriving 12/23. So because there had been no response, I sent an email 12/19, with multiple pictures documenting the poor work before I painted. I then painted and proceeded to enjoy the holidays. In my email I stated I would not be available to have the repairs fixed until after 1/7, so I did finally get a call to reschedule for 1/10, with a new repair person. Ben and a person that Ben said was the best in their company came out. Ben gave directions and left then the new person attempted to make the repairs look good. The main crack between the two rooms still is very obvious that repairs were done. After attempting three times to get the ceiling to look like the surrounding ceiling I surmised that they are just not capable of doing proper drywall repair. Ben did return at the end of the work (because of the quality dispute), but told me that was the best they could do. If I were a teacher and had to grade the quality of their work, I would give them a C- or D, barley acceptable by industry standards. I have other ceiling repairs to do but I will not be calling these guys back. Ever.

Wonderfully Well

Paint match to existing was very good. Prep work was accomplished quickly and well. Paint application same. Weatherstripping replaced on garage door, garage door painted. Only snag was garage door was painted in down position, did not want to open when paint dried. This was resolved quickly and professionally. Overall excellent job.

All interactions were professional and timely. They listened to my preferences and added valuable input. I provided the Behr paint although they like most pros seem to dislike Behr. Chris was great at reviewing the job/estimating. His choice of Samuel to do the work turned out a winner. The painting was very neat and clean.

We would recommend you avoid hiring Metzger Painting Professionals. We hired Metzger for a large $40,000 painting project and were recently told by the owner Jeremiah that he will not finish the job or repair poor workmanship. There are large areas of our house such as the front entry, garage doors and the back of the house that are left unfinished after four months. Other areas were poorly painted initially with sawdust and debris in the paint, over spray, severe tape damage and lousy coverage in general. After inspecting the work with his foreman Jeremiah assured us the work was substandard and all the repairs would be addressed. The following day Jeremiah insisted on another $16,000+ to finish the job. We vehemently disagreed with paying additional money when he had not completed the original contract. He has many excuses as to why he is not responsible. This was a large remodel and we have not had this type of difficulty with any other sub on this job. We are significantly disappointed and offered him every attempt to behave professionally and complete his contract. For the first time ever, we have filed an official complaint with the register of contractors.

Each person I spoke with whether on the phone, via email, or in person, was very courteous and professional. They showed up for the estimate and to do the job when they said they would. And all work was completed to our satisfaction in the timeline we were given by our HOA. We would highly recommend Metzger's Painting and we would definitely use them in the future.

Metzger painted doors and cabinets as well as walls, ceilings and baseboards. My house looks beautiful!

Great job

Very professional group. They came in after the dry out phase and took care of everything from insulation to drywall to paint. Just like it was before the damage occurred. They were quick, efficient and clean.

The quality of the paint job was fine. However, they washed their brushes in the gravel in my front yard leaving a huge white area. I called and asked that they resolve the problem which they didn't do. To this day my landscaping granite in the front yard is still white.
