We had a complete front yard redesign from ground cover, shrubs, pavers from driveway to front door, dry river bed, drip system and a bunch more. We are very happy with the end result. Lots of color and not much to maintain. Once we had the front done we had the back and side yard cleaned up as well. Great job Doug

I paid Doug $450.00 out the gate to mow my lawn front and back twice a month for $120.00 a month. I paid him an additional $320.00 to adjust my existing irrigation system to work correctly and set my sprinkler timers, after I just paid another independent contractor $450.00 dollars to replace all broken and damaged heads and fix all line leaks. Doug spent all day adjusting my system and it never worked correctly. I spent hours working on it myself. The system finally started worked correctly then a diaphragm went out on one of the zone cylinders. He replaced the diaphragm but did not connect the wires correctly so the system stopped working correctly again. He came back out and claimed that my boat and the mail man were causing the problems by running over the heads. He called me while I was on vacation and said he was doing more maintenance and repairs. I said stop! I wanted to see my bill. In 3 months I paid $330.00 for the mowing and $780.00 for sprinkler repairs that never fixed my system and winter grass that died because my sprinkler system did not work correctly. I opened the water box and found that he failed to connect two wires that fixed all of the low pressure problems. He also took a miniature palm out of my front yard and did not even inform us that he had taken it. When confronted he gave a story about how the roots of the palm would eventually cause our CMU fence problems. The palm has been there for 12 years. You can go on google earth and see where it used to be. I hope who ever has it now is enjoying it like we used to. Doug is unreliable, unprofessional, and non reputable. he will inform you that he has been doing this for 30 years which I am sure he has. I am in the Construction field and deal with the Dougs of this world on a daily basis and I should have turned off the money spicket much sooner but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I did so you do not have to. He called my wife 2 and 3 times a day demanding payment. He sent out his final bill to us on Nov. 1, 2016 and I debated on waiting to pay him until I could talk to him about his business practices, but then I came to my senses because what would I ever gain by making myself more frustrated and just paid the bill on Nov. 22, 2016. Stay clear of Doug McEvers Lawn Care for Doug will not take care of your lawn, just his pocket book. My experience is hopefully your lesson to steer clear. You can come by and see my lawn today an my neighbor Georgio has done all the work and my grass looks great. My advice to everyone is never allow a landscaper especially Doug McEvers to work at your house without supervision.

It's been several weeks, and the only non-issue/mild annoyance is that he can be hard to get a hold of. The service that McEver's provided was thoroughly well explained with remarkably reasonable pricing. We saved a bunch from the last guy and sacrificed no quality. Friendly, fast, efficient, far less creepy than the last guy, affordable. I'm running short on adjectives. Really, they're just good people. We also used their services for tree trimming and I WISH we took before and after photos.

Doug and his crew did a fantastic job on cleaning up my neglected lawn. His guys were professional, and did everything needed to make my lawn look beautiful. Doug is a very nice, personable guy, and truly seems to love landscaping and being outdoors. The only reason I gave him 4/5 on service was because we had to reschedule once (because of a hail storm), and his schedule was so full that I had to wait another week till his crew was free, but that just shows that they have lots of other clients and are obviously doing something right! Highly recommended.
