I think I paid probably 5 grand for the flooring and then another 4 grand for installation. The service was quick. They were able to get my product in really fast and ready to install pretty fast too. They did a very bad job of installation. There were two issues that I had altogether with the company. One, they had a price match guarantee that within a month if the price went down I would get refunded. Well, the day after I had bought my hardwood flooring and had gotten it delivered, they had a sale for the taxes to be paid on it. I called them up and I asked them. Corporate said since it was a local deal the only way I'd be able to get it back is from the store I got it from. I called them and they said, "Well, for that type of deal for you to get it back you'd have to return all of the flooring and do the sale again and by the time we charged you delivery and return you wouldn't get your money back anyway." So I felt that was very, very rude and kind of sketchy for them to advertise that and then go ahead and tell me, "No, we won't give you your money back." It would have been like $700 or $800. If they would have told me the day ahead of time that if I had just waited one more day, that I would have gotten a better discount that would have been really nice of them as well, but they didn't. Then the other issue was with the installation. They had a third-party company come in and do the installation. Through the installation they had broken the tracking on one of my doors by rolling over a power cord that they had run through my house outside. They had run the door over it and broke the tracking on it. A lot of the hardwood flooring is starting to come up and bubble like there is creaky spots. When they installed it I told them that, "Hey, I can stick a coin in between the wood. Is this appropriate?" They said, "Yeah, we need that space for it to expand and contract over the winter." Well, I don't really feel like I should be able to stick a quarter in between the wood planks. And last but not least, I had just painted the entire house and they had gotten sealant all over my walls and I was never able to get it out. I called them out on this. I called Lumber Liquidators out on this and nobody felt like it was their responsibility to fix it.

We had looked through the catalog and knew what color wood we wanted but had no experience with wood floors. The salespeople at Lumber Liquidators would answer any question we had but were not really sales people, they were more like order takers. It was after i pointed out they should be asking us questions to help us better define our needs did we finally make headway. Once we learned we would have to use "engineered" wood as we would be laying it over a concrete pad the rest was easy. The installer estimated and we ordered the wood. It arrived in a timely fashion and Lumber Liquidators quickly bought back the "overage". We, of course, kept one box of wood for any future repairs.

They did an excellent job, and were very professional and very friendly. We went to their showroom and they were very friendly there too. The person who came over to measure was nice as well, and did a good job. The flooring turned out beautiful. The sales crew got the hardwood and came by, and they were very friendly and very nice. We just had a really good experience with them.

They're open and friendly, answer any questions we have, give you the pros and cons of different products, and they don't try and sell you their top product for the sake of making a large sale.

We were very pleased with our experience with Lumber Liquidators. We went to the store several times, and all the salespeople were friendly and helpful in spite of being quite busy. We ended up placing our order over the phone and they had everything ready to go when we arrived at the store to pick up flooring and additional pieces. The installer, Hiram, was extremely easy to work with, prompt, professional and his team completed the work in just one day. Very good experience overall and the finished product looks beautiful.

I spent $450 on that work. They were good. The guy who came out for the estimate told me exactly what materials he needed for the installation. I am very happy with the floor. The price was good for the materials but the installation was a little steep. They were here on time.
