"I am so glad to get to reply to this one. First I need to say of the almost 650 one time clean ups we have done this year already this one was one of the top 10 worst. The area supervisor stopped in and inspected the job after we received the complaint note with payment thru mail. There was not one thing we could have done differently in just one visit to make this yard look better. When a yard has several years of nothing done to it there is no way on this earth that any company can come in and make it look like a nice garden in just one visit. The bushes were so overgrown they were falling apart and separating so of course the trim is going to look messy for a few months until new growth comes in to start filling the plant out. That new growth and regular trim is the only way to get a bush to look manicured. It just takes time and regular trim. The one large Bolg. that was not trimmed on top was let alone only after the woman of the house came out and told my worker to not trim the top and leave it alone. This plant was growing up a column on the patio along with a trellis so the assumption was she wanted to train it into an arch of some kind? We only did what was asked. I can say that the after look of the job from what it looked like before we arrived was acceptable by my standards as the owner and this was all relayed to the woman's e-mail address that was on file. Lucas Lawn Care tried it's best to do a clean up so someone could then start some kind of regular service since they declined to hire us for the reoccurring service that was recommended. Also weeds and grass growing in along with plants will always be there since it is impossible to hand pull that stuff out at that point and there is no way to spray it without killing the plant."
"I find this very interesting. The problems we had as a service provider were that almost every visit the gate was locked, so the workers could only service the front yard resulting in a very short visit. After having to reschedule visits more than 3 times to finish the job and service the back yard [another short visit], the yard got off on the rotation as far as regular trim. At this same time, the customer got behind on payment so we had to skip a visit or two until we received payment; so the yard didn't look as good as if we were getting full access to the front and back every two weeks same day as we had prior to her getting a job out of town. Eventually, payments stopped all together and we had to stop showing up. This customer still owes us money to this date."
"We have never done work for this person from what our records show. I think she is mistaken. We don't even service her area. Also I would never report anything to any authority no matter how the business relationship went. That is a fact."
