Legends Garage Door

I was told that my warranty service fee would cover parts and labor charges. But then after the work was completed the technician told me neither were covered. So I was double charged. Spoke with manager, John but he was unwilling to help. This is not an honest business.

Great. The tech, Manny, was most impressive in his honesty, efficiency and expertise. It turns out that the garage door motor, put into service in 1993, is "on its last legs." I was told that before. A new one with two remotes, a belt rail, and keyless entry would cost $335.00. Manny could have proceeded with a hard sell to get a new motor/system right away but he did not. He showed me how, if the motor quit, to manually open and close the garage door while waiting for a motor replacement. He balanced the door so well that the manual opening and closing was very easy. In other words, one might wish to wait until the old motor quits. What a way to build customer loyalty! Of course, when I do need a replacement, it will be Legends Garage Door. Finally, it is hard to overemphasize Manny's down to earth friendliness and positive attitude. Great experience.

I thought this review was posted months ago but just found it sitting in draft mode. Sorry Legends! Hope it goes through successfully this time! This positive review is a month overdue but now we have lived with our new door for over a month so I feel even better about writing it If I could give this company 10 stars I would do it. From the moment I called and spoke with Melissa to set up our consultation appointment, I knew I had called the right company. She came out to the house with samples, colors and fantastic ideas. Melissa was so personable and made the experience fun with no pressure whatsoever. She was quick to respond to my phone calls and emails as I debated about several color choices and styles. She set up our installation appointment at a time that worked perfectly for me and my husband. Cory arrived on time and installed the garage door quickly and efficiently. He did a perfect job. We love our garage door. We get compliments on it all the time. By the way, I do my homework and feel confident saying that the price, quality and responsiveness of Legends were all far superior to those of other companies that I researched. Thank you Legends. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new garage door.

I called to make the appointment and I asked the general cost of replacing my broken torsion springs.  I was given an estimate of $175.   I was also given a 2 hour estimated arrival time, which is better than the typical 4 hour or longer window.  The service tech, Arnie, arrived on time (in fact a little earlier than expected).  He was very professional and he finished the job in a timely manner.
I was waiting for the typical scare tactics and upselling and trying to tack on more services and repairs.  To my surprise, the was NO attempt to sell me a product or service that I didn't need.  The price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone.
It was refreshing to do business with an honest service company for a product that rarely needs repair, so many people don't know how much to expect to pay for service.
I will definitely use Legends again in the future and I recommend them.

Legends Garage Door installed the most beautiful garage doors on our ultra-modern home. They are breathtaking!! The best part was the customer service. I wish that we had more garages that needed new doors! The value of our home is for sure increased by this upgrade. I loved the phone calls, updates and excellent service during the complicated installation. This is a stellar company and we can't recommend them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and consider a new garage door. It really can transform your home! Thank You!

They came out same day. Repair the garage door and gave my garage door a and quot;tune upand quot;. They even rehung my opener machine because is was not installed right and did not have enough support for free! They did a great job! Great business!

It went fine. He noticed a few things wrong with my door, the way it was originally hung when it was built. He just adjusted it for free. It actually required him to take off the pulley system. He was very, very clean. We talked about putting some aluminium insulation in the glass decorative part of the door to keep the garage interior cool which has been amazing. He just went above everything. So it was appreciated it. He swept out the garage after re-drilling holes.

We are renters. We called home warrantee service, since our remote openers would not program or work. Cory came out next day, on time, and diagnosed issue right away. Circuit board in opener was replaced, both new remotes programmed, and then he made sure the rest of the system was working. He tightened up chain tension, lubricated all parts (they were squeaking badly), and re-positioned our infrared safety sensors to be more secure. He knew what he was doing - full service in 20-25 minutes, no wasted effort. Spoke to me as he worked, letting me know what he was doing, and how I as the home occupant could keep the system working. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

He is very efficient. Very cost effective. Very personable.

Showed up on time, polite, corrected problem plus checked out wires rollers and programmed our cars. Great service.

I left message when I first called, explaining my needs. (There was a possibility of fixing existing motor, but it looked pretty old so was thinking I would likely have to replace. Motor didn't work when we bought the house a couple months ago.) I received a call back within 10 minutes and they explained everything to me - including a likely quote for repair of existing system and cost for replacement. I made an appointment for a couple days later. They arrived on time (and I received a courtesy call about an hour before). They examined the existing motor and would have been happy doing the repairs (NO pressure to go with full replacement). But I opted for the replacement. Because I had described the existing motor in initial phone call, they came with the parts for fixing it, and had everything with them for replacement as well. An hour later they were done. They did a nice job cleaning up AND explaining the system. It works great and we are very happy with the service and price.
Side note - they had been told by Liftmaster that there was a 100% rebate (about $50?) for the device to access and control the door from an iPhone. After the service was done, Legends were told it was a misprint and the rebate didn't start until late May (not late April as had been printed), so Liftmaster would not do the rebate for the device. They explained this to me but then said they would cover the cost and I received it in the mail the next day, at Legends expense. THAT'S GREAT SERVICE!
Legends Garage Door is a small company that I think is trying to make a name for itself. The best way to describe them is... and quot;They get itand quot;. The did all the right things regarding service, from the first call to the final step of covering up Liftmaster's mistake by paying for it themselves - I'd recommend them to anyone!
