JUST SCREENS

Mel was suppose to replace 6 screens. He took the frames to do the job off site. And was going to replace 2 screen door screens the following Saturday when he returned. I received a call that they couldn't come on that Saturday but would be out the next. It is now over a month later and I have no screens and no frames for the screens. His phone is disconnected and my check was cashed.

The screens are now popping out especially on the doors. All of them are loose and not functioning properly.

The screens are great in all areas are great. Just the right amount of light/privacy. Quality is excellent. Could not be more satisfied. Would definitely recommend this company.

Everything went well. They came when they said they would to evaluate my needs and they returned with my new screens when they said they would. The screens are beautiful. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone

When I called and left a message they called back very fast. This husband and wife team came the next day and since there were 2 houses involved took the time to do both estimates. They gave me a timeframe when the installation can be done and it was done
with care and on time. I was very pleased with this company and will use them again if the need arises. I would recommend them to anyone who needs screens repaired. I know they do a fine job since they are both perfectionists.

First let me say, don't judge a book by its cover. The husband of this team looks like a typical older Harley rider, but was so pleasent and nice to work with I would recommend him without question.
The husband and wife team, came out quickly and measured my windows. They emailed estimates and gave me a variety of screens to choose from.
I went with the Brown 99% blocking sun screens. They look terrific, they customized to enhance the look, and within a week they installed them. They look awsome and even though I chose the 99% sun screen my visibility is still good. My first electric bill with the screens only being on for 2 weeks of the 30 days was $100 dollars cheaper and my home stays cooler, the A/C runs a lot less.
I couldn't have made a better choice or investment. It will certainly pay for itself quickly.

The first estimate was on the phone. They charged a 75$ trip charge plus coming to my house twice, once to do an estimate and measure the screen and take the screen door back with them to replace the roller. They returned in 5 days to complete the job.
They were friendly and knowledgeable about their field. I felt hesitant about the price because they were rated well on angies list
but their prices were all over the place. I wasn't sure about hiring them for the work. They did a good job. They always called ahead to tell me when they would be here but it always seemed to take them longer than they said. This was true both times they came to my house.

They showed up a little later than planned, but took the screen doors to be returned two weeks later, which they were. On the second trip, we were looking at the window screens, and two needed to be replaced. He gave me the option of picking them up at their home, rather than paying for another service call out to my house, which I did. (Saved me $75). He also saved me some money by looking at the other screens of the house, and turning them around, which was actually the correct way to install them, rather than replacing the screen, like I had thought needed to be done.

The selection of screens available was limited to three types. .Although they are all attractive screens that are well made of durable material. .The quality is excellent. As an example, they use metal accessories instead of plastic. They seem to try hard to please the customer. The time frame from estimate to installation took four days. Would use again as price was also fair.

They came to measure and build the screen exactly as promised. Then came back to install it as promised. They even reseated one or two of my existing screens with no additional charge.

They estimated quickly and gave me a very fair price. I asked for a price for bug screens as well as sun screens. Both prices were fair, but I chose bug screens. They completed the work very timely and it looks great. I'm very happy.

All work was completed within the time predicted (a week or so) and at the price quoted. A particularly challenging job this time was to build a new sliding screen for our pass-through window from the kitchen to the back porch. Whoever had built it before had made it fit so tightly that we had never been able to remove it to clean it. Mel managed to get it out, letting me know that doing so would probably ruin the frame. He took careful measurements and had it rebuilt, adjusting the size and fitting so it would be removable. When he brought it back, it was not quite right, so he left the not-quite-right one in (so we would have a screen) and had it remade. It was done and installed within a few days.

I phoned Just Screens and left a phone message describing the services I needed from them. I received a return call in a timely manner. Arlene, who owns the business with her husband, Mel, asked me to provide her with a rough measurement of each window so she could provide me with an approximate estimate of the job in order to determine if we wanted to proceed with the project. After receiving the estimate we determined to go ahead. Both Mel and Arlene came to the house to do an accurate measurement of the windows. They worked as a team, measuring and recording the information. During that same visit Arlene provided me with the final estimate, at which time I gave them a check for 50% of the job. The remainder due was paid on the day of the installation. They willingly accommodated my request for the installation date since we had to work around dates when we would be out of town. All the screens were replaced flawlessly. They fit perfectly and look great. Do not hesitate to use this company for any screen needs. We will surely use them again when the need arises.

He did a great job. We were concerned about replacing the screens because the reason several of them were torn is our cats. Mel showed us an option that is "pet-safe." I thought that these screens (made of a plastic that doesn't catch in the cats' claws) looked as if they would block too much light, but opted for them anyway. As it turns out, they look fine and are almost indistinguishable from regular metal screens.

Couldn't have asked for better service! Mel and his wife, Arlene, are professional, reliable, punctual, friendly and so pleasant to deal with. Mel did an outstanding job with the frames and screens at an exceptionally reasonable price. Arlene takes the calls and does the scheduling and always called to give us the date and time Mel would be here. When we first called, we gave Arlene the approx. window measurements and she gave us an estimate which was almost spot on to the actual charge. Can't say enough good about them both! A wonderful, family-owned company with outstanding service and quality work!!!

Called Just Screens and spoke to a lady who said that she was able to help me with the installation of 4 screens for the windows. Because this was for a rental property, they worked out the timing with the tenant to measure and install screens. It took about a week. Everything worked out smoothly and they were very nice. I would use this company again.

MY HUSBAND CALLED A FEW DIFFERENT SCREEN POEPLE AND THEIR PRICES WERE MOST COMPETITIVE. THE HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM THAT CAME OUT DID A GREAT JOB AND WERE BOTH FRIENDLY AND ON TIME.
