The service was quick and well done, and Jim was willing to work with our renters to finish the job. My only complaint is a $50 travel charge in addition to the other charges. We knew of this upfront and were willing to pay it at the time because we were in a pinch, but I would not use this service again for that reason. Otherwise, everything else went fine.

We had engaged Mr. Moore’s handyman services 5 months ago when we were redoing the overhead lighting in our kitchen. There were 2 fluorescent bulbs set into a recessed portion of the kitchen ceiling, w/an opaque panel covering it all. We had Mr. Moore remove the panel and the fluorescent fixtures, rewire to install an LED fixture, and then patch the wallboard where the previous fixtures had been removed. Mr. Moore did a good job w/all of this. The final step involved finishing the wallboard in the now exposed recessed area of the kitchen ceiling to match the rest of the ceiling. Mr. Moore assured us he could do that. When he was
finished, it was obvious this was not something he knew how to do. After it dried, the resulting finish was chunky, amateurish, and in no way matched the rest of the ceiling. Shortly after this, we had painters coming in. Prior to the painting, it was necessary for us to hire somebody else to come in and completely remove and redo the unacceptable texturing work done by Mr. Moore, at additional expense
to us. We attempted several times to contact Mr. Moore about needing to have his wall texturing work completely redone. We had no response whatsoever. Had Mr. Moore gotten back to us to resolve the issue, we would have considered things to have been handled fairly and appropriately. Given our unsatisfactory experience, we wouldn’t consider Mr. Moore for any other projects.

Rick showed up as scheduled, identified the problem, went and bought the replacement part, and installed. Approximate time, 90 minutes. Rick was capable and professional, and I'll definitely use him and the company in the future.

Overall it was a great job. I am still wondering how he did it by himself.

Arrived on a Friday to begin work. Worked from 7 am to 3 or 4 pm for 3 days. Made sure if I needed to buy additional parts, I knew exactly where to get them and what I needed. Project took 3 days to accomplish all the items on my quote. Ron arrived promptly each day, used precaustions to insure nothing damaged while he worked, cleaned up daily. He was very professional. I was impressed he called me immediately upon receiving my email, scheduled a day to come and look at what needed to be done and gave me a quote and start date before he left.

I had several items that needed repaired/replaced to get my rental home ready to lease. Jim was able to meet me the same day that we spoke on the phone and started work the next day. He completed all of the items professionally and timely. I will certainly call Jim again for any of my handyman jobs.

He was really good. He is a hard worker and hard trying guy. He does a good job. He is great. There were a couple of things, but there is no perfect handyman. One time I had one of the kids trying to get in and out and broke the window. They came over on a Saturday or Sunday and got it fixed. They were responsible.

He was very professional. Everything he did, he did a good job. I didn't check the price with others. It was about 2 days worth a work.

Jim arrived right on time and we reviewed the 4 projects that I needed completed. He quickly accessed what needed to be done and went to work. He seems very skilled in many areas and has a full set of tools with him. He completed all the work in just 3 hours (including making a trip to the hardware store for special screws). He was very pleasant and efficient and I would call him again for all my handyman needs. Jim charged $50/hr plus $40 trip charge which seemed very reasonable for his skill level.

He did an excellent job with the painting and everything. The cabinets were put up straight. It looks like they are secure. He made sure that everything was proper when he measured. He was concerned about making sure that the job was done well. The cleanup was excellent. I think his price was reasonable too, but then I did not get a lot of estimates.

All the while, he is professional, timely in calling me back and scheduling the appointment to accommodate my schedule. He has never left a mess. I have recommended him to several friends and family members.

Things went fine. He was local to me. It looked like he was a good handyman to do plumbing.

He wasn’t good. He came in way over quote and I had to argue with him get things done. He was supposed to get things done for $200. He went to the store twice. He not only charged me for the service, but he also charged me for the mileage. I had him mount a television for me. I had him mount it in the pantry, in the kitchen. He saw the job and quoted for it. He did tell me that he would be charging me travel time from his house, which was across the valley, to my place. Because his original quote was low I thought that was fine. However, when he mounted the television, it wasn’t correctly done. He installed an extendable arm so that I could turn it from my closet and watch it. The arm wouldn't go back in because of the way he mounted it. He had to remount it. I think he was shouting at me. It wasn’t a good experience. The price wasn’t bad for the work involved and it did end up getting done right. It was a lot of work, but he went to the store twice and charged me for two hours when he wasn’t working. I will not use this company again in the future.

I had them come out two different times. They charged me $150 for assembling the furniture plus $40 was their trip charge. It was great and I appreciated the handyman. He did a great job. I didn’t like the trip charge. I thought that the price was fair except for the trip charge. He was late both the times. I would use their services again except that I would not appreciate the trip charge.

I like the guy. He made one or two mistakes, but it was fine.
