J & R Automotive Specialists charged me a little more than I expected but I understood because that's not something they normally do. The man came when he said he was going to and he seemed very knowledgeable and I definitely would use them again if I needed to. It did not take him any time at all to change the battery.

Raul found and replaced the fuse, and sent me on my way with no charge to the body shop or to me.  While waiting, I had a pleasant conversation with his partner John Ershler, and could see that this was a well-run and well-organized auto service shop handling both domestic and foreign car repairs.  They must keep busy simply on the basis of word of mouth recommendation, because they are located at the rear of a commercial building and other than a modest sign, nothing is visible from the street.  Clearly the place is a well-kept secret, of which Angie's List members would do well to avail themselves.
