Edit: Ronnie called about the review and pressured us to remove it trying to bribe us with a refund. A refund would be the bare minimum. He tried to guilt trip us and make us feel bad. This seemed to be the standard practice. I don't think you can trust the lack of negative reviews for this company. They called me within minutes to ask me to take it down. He said we were lucky not to have been charged over $200 for 2 AAA batteries. Which was never communicated to us at the time. Baffling experience. I do not know where the other 5 star reviews came from. We called them because we needed a Trane Certified technician. We explained the error codes we were getting and the front desk was extremely helpful. They said they would have a Trane Certified Sr. Technician out to take a look at the system. Bihn did not seem to know much about HVAC in general let alone Trane. He tried to stand on our furniture rather than get his ladder. We had to ask him multiple times not too. He refused to get his ladder from upstairs and we had to get ours from the garage. He had to google the error codes we had and even after reading the reference documents had to ask us what the codes meant. In the end, we were charged $20 (with a coupon) for him to replace 2 AAA batteries in a sensor (he asked us to use our own). Incredibly unprofessional. We will be reporting Hobaica to Trane to request an audit because there is no way Bihn is certified to work on these units and we will be requesting a refund or charge back because we did not receive the agreed upon services.

After Hobaica installed a new HVAC system 6 weeks ago, they sent Scott K. to my home to inspect that the system was working properly. I had not seen any problem, but Scott identified an issue with a clogged drain tube that would have caused the evaporation tray to overflow into my attic and eventually cause a leak in my ceiling. He cleared buckets of excess water and repositioned the tray to alleviate the problem. If Hobaica hadn't provided this routine followup visit, I wouldn't have known that anything was amiss until my ceiling sprung a leak. Scott was super efficient, personable and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I'm so grateful that Scott averted what could have been a real problem for me.

My Hobaica electrician (Steven), & my plumber (Jacob) were fantastic! They were both so knowledgeable & courteous. They were very thorough in explaining every detail of the work involved with our home projects. The guys knew exactly what they needed to do to fix our complex electrical & plumbing issues. We absolutely recommend using Hobaica for any of your electrical, plumbing, or HVAC problems - you’ll be in good hands! The scheduling staff was amazing & so helpful as well!

I received an estimate of $ 2530.00 to replace the faucet valves in two bathrooms, not including parts and leaving walls to be repaired. We were told because the fixtures were old no replacement parts were available. The next day a handyman/ plumber came and removed the 4 Pfister valves, went to Ace hardware, bought new valves and installed them in both bathrooms. He took an hour and 15 mins to complete job and charged me $ 200.00….that is a difference of $ 2330.00 from Hobaica estimate. You be the judge of if this is an honest company. Buyer Beware..they are out to get seniors.

I called Hobaica and spoke to Amanda who offered the service special after hearing the issue I was experiencing. Jaycee showed up less than two hours later and found that a wire had come loose which he fixed quickly and did not try to up-sell the repair (much appreciated.) Very professional.

I did have one bad issue with them. I purchased a new gas pack HVAC, and every time there was a power outage, the unit wouldn't restart. They claimed that I needed a surge suppressor, and wouldn't stand behind it until I got one. It was clear that these were not power surges, and even so why didn't one come with the unit if this was a known problem? Not one technician has been able to figure out why this happens, and that's all they were willing to do. But, I still use them every 6 months to service the unit and the techs are always totally professional, never try to sell me anything I don't need. Hope this helps.

We have been using Hobaica services for over 20 years to service the air conditioners on our house. We recently had to replace the units they installed 20 years ago. We selected Lennox units again because the current ones lasted so long. Dammond was our installer and he did a great job. He showed up ahead of schedule and called before arriving. He was very courteous and completed the job in a few hours. We have always been very happen with the service techs that Hobaica sends out. They have taken care of our air conditioners for over 20 years and will continue to be our first choice going forward. You can't go wrong with these guys.

I don't have any idea about the cost. They were fine. I don't see any reason to not give them an A for overall. It was just checking to see if any repairs needed to be done, I don't know how you would quantify that for the quality. Responsiveness was good. They were fine. He was on time. He barely talked to me, and I didn't want to have a conversation with him. It was fine, I think it was pretty similar to others I had, with the discount, so I'd give them a B for pricing.

Ronnie scheduled the appointment and he was very professional and informative. Clint arrived early to unclog my condensate drain on my a/c unit. I was very pleased with this company they were efficient, honest, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I will definitely be using their company again in the future.

We always use them. My kids went to school with their kids. I always use them. I have a prepaid service agreement with them. They are fabulous. They are a small locally owned company and have a very good reputation. My annual agreement is two hundred and something dollars. They come out four times a year and I do not pay any extra for that. I know that they are very competitive because when my neighbor had gotten a new air conditioning, I had just gotten one. She got three quotes. I told her you oughta consider Hobaica as one of those quotes. She did. They did much better work than the others were proposing and much cheaper with their service.

Jimmy and Ryan came on time to replace the cooling system of our wine cellar. They were friendly, professional, and very patient to answer all our questions. Binh came later to perform start-up to our new system and they found there was an existing leaking problem in the condensate drain line. Jimmy came back three days later to have the drain line replaced. The installation went smoothly. Thank you!
