High Sonoran Desert Painting

Tommy came out and gave us a quote. He was very personable straightforward and friendly. He pointed out some things that he would recommend doing that we hadn't considered. We had to wait for HOA approval and were expecting to wait several months once it got approved to start. They started within a few weeks! The painters came out on Tuesday to wash, tape, patch stucco and prep the wood. They were finished on Thursday. They do a very thorough job. Alex came and did a final walkthrough to make sure that we were happy. He pointed out several things that he felt would look better. Then they did it. They stuck with their original price quoted. He left us with paint in case we needed it and did several layers on areas that typically have issues from the heat. This is a company that cares about their reputation and they do a high quality job to maintain that reputation.

Tommy walked us through every step of the process. He helped us make decisions as things came up about color choices. His crew is fast, thorough and efficient. They cleaned up everything and put furniture back on the patio. I highly recommend them.

Alex was awesome! He responded very quickly when I called. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone. Came out the same day to verify the scope of work, get paint color and talk about scheduling of job. We were in sum what of a time crunch, needing our home painted for a party and he was very accommodating. He and his crew went above our expectations. Very happy with the results.

They did an excellent job - very thorough - in a surprisingly short time. They power washed, masked, caulked, primed and applied 2 finish coats of high-quality paint. We will ask them to do any painting work we may have in the future.

We were amazed by the way Alex and his crew transformed the appearance of our home. A job done right with our choice of top quality paints. The exterior stucco of our house was done in three different colors and it's a tall structure, so not an easy repaint project - lots of masking and lots of work high off the ground. But High Sonoran got it done quickly and done right. We had this place built thirteen years ago, and I have photos of the way it looked right after it was finished, so I don't need to rely on memory when I say this house looks even better now than it did back then, thanks to High Sonoran. I would recommend High Sonoran without reservation to anyone in need of a repaint.

Alex and his team did a great job on the home. Took extra time to resurface and paint cement slab edges. I needed the home painted before new renters moved in and they got my home into the schedule. The work was done on time and they re touched up anything that I asked during final walk. No paint drips or anything on sidewalk or driveway. Great Job.

We just finished having our house painted with Sonoran Desert Painting! We are so pleased with the results and would recommend High Sonoran Desert Painting! Tom was so pleasant to work with. He pointed out all the areas that they would paint and repair and identified things I didn't even notice (stucco repair, cracks in patio ceiling, door frame gaps). He discussed different paint sheen options and suggested an eggshell finish so the paint wouldn't fade as fast as the last paint job did. His crew was great to work with! He communicated with me daily on the progress and even brought in an extra hand to help finish the job early as we were going to be entertaining outside the next day. We plan to also use them when we touch up the pool decking! Thank you for making my house look new again!

High Sonoran repainted our home's exterior and yard walls using Dunn-Edwards paint. They have pride in their work and say they take customer satisfaction seriously but seem to operate using an 'old school' business model whereby their word that they'll do the job right is 'good enough' especially on warranting the end result. We originally went with a single color scheme on the entire house but at the conclusion of day 1 we inquired about painting the bird stop and fascia a second color. With only 2 sides of the home painted we were charged an additional $400 to to cover the cost of 2 gallons of paint and labor. Since the original quote of $3250 for the house would have included painting a separate trim color, $400 (12.3%) of the total house painting cost seemed excessive especially since half the house had yet to be painted. There should have been no additional cost for paint and the extra labor was in the owner ordering and picking up 2 gallons of paint and the respraying of the bird stops on the 2 sides of the home previously painted. Hand painting all the fascia should have been covered under the original $3250 bid. I was involved for 15 yrs. with a home improvement firm and couldn't imagine charging a customer an additional $400 on a $4600 job that I had a 2 man crew (lead and helper) on for 2.5 days. Alex said repeatedly "we'll love the paint job"....well we do like the paint job just not loving that extra $400 we shelled out.

Very well, good preparation especially on new replaced fascia boards and ground line of wall.  Alex used a very high quality paint that really seals the wood surfaces.  Priming and trim painting was done by hand, walls with sprayer.  Everything was well masked.
I am very pleased with the outcome, including the painting of all white sun room addition to block windows and look like the rest of the house.

Exterior house painting.

First, I appreciate a company when they return your call when they say they will. Also I appreciated it when a company gives a start time and they start when they say. Alex and his team was on time and continued to work on schedule thru out the 3 day project. The team was very thoughtful and notified us when they arrive and when they left ever day. The crew also cleaned up every day and then again at the end of the project. Alex came over and inspected the job and asked how we like the final work. We found two small areas that were missing some paint strokes and Alex went up to correct painting as soon as we pointed it out. The team also did a great job of repairing the imperfections in a door jam and putting some leveling sealant around the foundation of the home, great details and quality of their paint job. Overall, the work was completed on time and looked great. Several people in the neighborhood came by and said the home looked great. I will definitely use Alex's team when there is an opportunity and would recommend Alex and his team to anyone looking for quality work. 7 months later and the home still looks great.

To start the process High Sonoran Desert Painting provided a competitive quote for painting my house and brick fence.  But the quality of paint provided in the quote was substantially better than competitors.  They offered suggestions for painting trim and fences that were great improvements over my original ideas.  Throughout the job they were efficient, on time and cleaned up the area after completing work every day.
While painting,  they noticed that I had a flat roof that need re-coating.  They also noticed that I had a leak in the corner of my garage.  I had tried several roof services to repair the leak with no success.  They provided a competitive quote for re-coating the roof.  They efficiently and quickly performed that service also. They paid extra attention to the area where the leak was.   
The paint job and the roof turned out beautiful.  After several rain storms the garage has shown no signs of leaking so they were able to fix the leak in the garage.
 Altogether I was very pleased and would highly recommend High Sonoran Desert Painting.
