The communication was very shaky throughout the process. Not only was a quoted different pricing for one door and then told to go another route. He told me an initial price and when he mentioned going another direction and spending less, he basically countered with making up the money in labor due to it being a special case scenario. When I asked for ways to lower the price, not negotiating and going with a different door he got upset and said he had the best price possible. The gentlemen came out to my house for surcharge to check some things out with my framing, then when he told me we can go one direction, he completely backtracked and didn't want to do business because of me asking about a different priced door. Not only was the communication poor, the professionalism really lacked and he ended up messing up my existing door to where it doesn't close properly. There may be a ton of reviews that are positive, but this guy doesn't show honesty and professionalism. Im going in a different direction that is much better priced and with a company who doesn't hide behind changing prices as they go along.

"You contacted us asking for an estimate on installing a new front door that you had purchased at the Home Depot. We gave you a rough estimate over the phone and told you we I would have to verify all the measurements. Unfortunately the door you bought was too big to fit into existing opening and We could not honor the rough estimate given over the phone. We then gave you 2 options either buy a door with the correct measurements or reframe the opening to fit the door you bought, you asked how much it would cost to reframe the opening and we told you we couldn’t give you an accurate estimate without a closer examination of your existing framing and it would cost $50 because we would have to remove the casing on your door . You said you would have run it by your wife . A few days later you called and asked us to come back out and give you the estimate for the reframing estimate and asked if you could pay the $50 by credit card. We came out to your house a second time removed your casing on your door examined your framing , reinstalled your casing and gave you a reframing estimate. You didn’t like the reframing estimate and began asking what happened to the first estimate We gave you over the phone . We tried to explain the first estimate was a rough estimate to install door, and the new estimate was to reframe the opening and install the door which is a lot more work involving framing ,drywall stucco and the door installation. We came out to your house twice , spent over 1 hour examining your framing trying to help you with your door installation."

I wish all contractors were as good as Dwayne! He was prompt, professional, and did a great job. He replaced an exterior full-lite door for us, making sure our alarm worked when he was done, and going the extra mile to replace some of the weather stripping because he saw a sliver of light (which I couldn't see, but Dwayne is a perfectionist)! I highly recommend Haynes Construction.

Because it was an older door the rollers were difficult to replace , however the job was completed and now working well. I am pleased with how it turned out.

Of course, our door is an unusual size. Haynes has ordered the door and tells us about 2 weeks or so for it to come in. Haynes called us exactly on time to schedule installation. Installation was completed in about 2 hours. A much higher quality door, better quality installation provide us with a better seal to our garage.

I purchased the door from Haynes Construction and they installed it. The door is beautiful. Everything was done when I was told it would be done. He removed the old door and replaced the frame and door. He also removed and reinstalled my security screen. There was no mess left behind and I was asked to inspect everything before I paid. I am going to have another door replaced in the future with this company. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

So i went to Lowes and bought a new sliding door for my patio, when I brought it home I realized I didn?t know what I was doing (actually my wife realized I was in over my head). We have stucco, trim that is not in stock anymore and tile floors, this new door was not going to be a plug and play. I went online and shopped around for a 4-5 star door installer and found Haynes Construction, LLC on Home Advisor. I called him gave a quick rundown of my house style and he quoted me the lowest price so I scheduled a date. His crew was on time, professional, organized and cleaned as they went. His price did not change and craftsmanship was superb. I have recommended him to my friends and will hire him again.
