Consumer Warning: Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise against working with this company. The workmanship on my project was extremely poor and left unfinished. The fence installation included slats of inconsistent sizes, visible holes, sharp exposed wires, and an excessive number of staples throughout. Several slats have already fallen out of place, resulting in 914 linear feet of substandard work. The materials delivered were never inspected by Aldo. They appeared to be damaged and of low quality, when I raised concerns, I was told the issues were due to a manufacturing defect and would be corrected but that never happened. Instead, I received threats of a lawsuit and mechanic?s lien, even though we had already paid $19,000 before the work was completed. With a small balance that will be paid in full once the job is completed properly. I have everything fully documented and plan to file formal complaints with the ROC amongst legal action.

"This is aldo schritter the president of guyco construction george the husband is happy wih our work he said my guys did a great job the workman ship was great only person was cynthia which did not like the misaligned staples which was a manufacturor mistake extremely minor i actualy did file a law suit and a mechanics lien for $7000.00 it was no threat cinthia asked my foreman if he could make adjustments as a side job she wanted to keep the $7000.00 to pay for the fancy wrt iron gates that they said they couldnt aford i welcome the registrar of contracters they have treated me verry fairly in the last 50 years we have a pertfect record with them this will be desided by a judge with the help of the registrar of contracters"

We are pretty disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I met with Aldo several weeks prior to hiring him and explained what we wanted, what we knew as hog fencing (rustic looking pipe with small rectangular wire). He suggested chain link fencing, which I immediately said no to and was very clear I did not want chain link or anything like it. He seemed to understand. The fence we received is clearly chain link with the wire changed out. I reached out to Aldo expressing how unhappy we are and sent pictures showing the poor work, and he has ignored me completely. Pretty disappointing when you hire a supposed reputable company and do not get what you asked for!

"i met with ashley she requested some dog runs to be added to her existing side fence the cheapest way posible i gave the estimette she sad it was way more then she could afford we shortned the length of fence to save more money to about half price she was taking in rescue dogs she got the matching fence to what the other 2 existing sides were then she got a really rough dog then my installers told me she was trying to hire them on the side to add more work she paid and everything was fine she was happy then she gets this dog thats tearing up the fence and decided she should have bought industrial grade for this one dog then for several hours she blasted text messages not emails not live phone calls saying i didnt no anything about the fence business my guys told me they thought she was drunk or on drugs this person is a nut case we dont tolerate this kind of assinine behavier"

We had a good crew Installing our fence. They worked clean and when they were done the yard looked like the fence had always been there, no debris, no dirt and it looks great. Price was reasonable for quality work, we're very satisfied.

After accepting this Pros proposal contract for a wood/chain-link fence installation for our backyard and making a down payment, we waited 6 weeks for any further communication from him. When he finally called, we were told they would be out to start on our fence the next week. However, his crew showed up much earlier than that - 2 days later - without any advance notice that they were coming. Neither the chain-link crew nor the wood fence crew (who came several days later) brought all the necessary materials to complete the job they were supposed to do that day, so they ended up coming out to our house at least 2 extra times to finish what they had started. (Each of the 5 times they came out, they just showed up without calling ahead to let us know they were coming.) They ended up taking 5 days, over a weeks time, to do a job that should have taken only 2-3 days. Then the Pro attempted to charge us an additional amount over our contracted price for the project, saying his crew had to make an extra trip because were asking for a wooden gate that was not included in our contract. We had to refute his request for payment and point out to him that the number and types of gates that were installed by his crews were indeed delineated on our contract with him, which he drew up himself. Any extra trips his crews had to make were the result of his own lack of organization and miscommunication, not our requesting something that was not on the contract, and therefore was not our responsibility. We finally were able to settle the matter for the contracted amount, 8 weeks after beginning the process. The final product is very nice, and we are happy with our fence, but there was just a lot of unnecessary hassle in getting it done.

Aldo Schritter, the owner of Guyco Construction came to our house in early October 2020 to measure and give us a quote for a white metal gate. When he arrived, he did not have a mask on, and we had to ask him to wear one. He complied. We described what we wanted and he measured the gate. He did not appear to measure with accuracy, and when I questioned him he said. I have been in business for over 30 years, I know what I am doing. So he wrote up an invoice for $795.00 and left. His mask kept slipping down below his nose, and we had to keep asking him to put it back on. Several weeks later his installers came to the house. When they put the gate in place it was 2 too short. It measured 44 x 8. The installers called Aldo and we spoke to him. He told us that he allowed for a 2 swing so that the gate would not scrape on the ground. We told him that our ground was flat and that his gate was not the same measurement as the invoice he wrote up. He said he knew his job as he had been in business for over 30 years. The phone call ended with the installers leaving with the gate. We waited for about 4 weeks and contacted him. We asked him what was going on with the gate, and he said I built you a gate, and it was accurate, I am not interested in redoing the gate, I have already lost money on the gate. That was the end of the conversation. We are fortunate that we did not give him a down payment or payment in full. We are putting in this review to inform other potential customers that Aldo Schritter, the owner of Guyco Construction Inc. was unprofessional. He did not follow through with the commitment stated on the invoice and he had little regard for our safety as we had to remind him several times to keep his mask on.
