This team was amazing from beginning to end!
I had previously listed my unit with two other agents with no sale nor a single offer in three years time. When the listing expired, and the agent at the time failed to renew, I received many solicitations in the mail and chose Gastineau Real Estate Team for their contemporary approach to listing my unit. Since I was out of state, I needed to rely on Marc and his team 100%. They staged my condo to maximize its appeal and featured the condo on multiple real estate web sites with photos shot by Marc, himself.
Within a matter of days I had a low ball offer, which I rejected--but it was the first offer I had had on the unit since I had first listed it over three years earlier! Over the next several months Marc and I worked together to best list my condo and he secured for me a short term tenant to help offset the loss in rental income when I put the unit up for sale. When my unit did sell, it was for $5,000 over the current appraised value as shown on Zillow.
Marc then went the extra step again and helped me to prepare the unit for it's closing so that when I arrived from out of town I was able to accomplish everything within four (4) days time--including repairs and other services to satisfy inspection discrepancies.
Marc listened to my concerns and suggestions when they came up and implemented creative ways to sell the unit as market conditions changed and values continue to fall in the buyers market. Marc and his team were with me every step of the way and even after the closing. I can't say enough positives about this great team and Marc in particular.
