Very well. We used them last year for the same issue. When the technician came by this time, he realized that the problem was on their end. He took care of it and did not charge for the service. This show that the business operates on a model of integrity and professionalism. You don't see that much these days. We will use them when we are ready to replace our existing ceiling fans.

He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what her could do and what it would cost. He had the parts to do the fix and was in-and-out in less than an hour. He arrived almost on the dot of the first hour of the time-range I was given. I couldn't be happier. I asked him to check on new blades for an outside fan. He did and called me to let me know they are out-of-stock but will be restocked if I'd like to check back.

If you want your ceiling fan fixed right the first time, call these guys. My fan was only working on one speed. Fan Doctor got me scheduled. Kevin, the electrician, came out and diagnosed that two capacitors were out. He was able to fix my ceiling fan. He also spent some extra time balancing the fan for me. It now works great and just in time for summer. This is professional business and they know what they are doing. Their service call is competitive with many home warranty companies and parts needed were at a minimal cost. Awesome Job!

My husband took it down and brought it in to Fan Doctors for an estimate. It seemed reasonable to get it working with a new motor for a fraction of what a new ceiling fan would cost. It's back up and running smoothly with a new motor!

It's been a while so I don't recall the exact date nor cost. As I recall the person was professional and completed the work. The ticking fan, however, didn't stay fixed, so they came back at a later date without charge to fix it again. It's better but still ticks. I believe it may need to be replaced to fix it.

We moved from Boston to the Phoenix and knew diddley about ceiling fans. We bought a house and the fan in the master bedroom was inoperative. Everyone involved with the purchase of the house recommended replacing rather than repairing the fan. I took a look at it and saw that the part that held the fan blades on the motor (the flywheel) had broken but the motor was running. Called the Fan Doctor and set up an appointment to take a look at it and get an assessment. Brian came out and let us know that it was a not uncommon problem with that brand of fan and that he could fix it and that it was worth the cost to do so. He took the fan down, brought it out to the truck, replaced the flywheel, put the whole thing back together and it's working beautifully. It didn't take all that long, he took care to cover anything that might catch falling dust or ceiling junk. He was personable and showed us how to operate the fan. A very good experience and we would recommend the Fan Doctor to others.

We went to the store several times to find a fan with a light to replace an existing ceiling fan over our kitchen table. Ken had unending patience as he met with us a number of times over the course of a year to find a fan that was aesthetically pleasing for our room and that would put off sufficient light. He showed us the fans they had in the store and helped us go through the various catalogs to find a fan that we liked. Then he helped us with the light kits and with the options for controlling the fan and light. Travis also spoke with us over the phone to explain what light bulbs would work with both the light kit and the wall control.
It took just over a week to get the fan after we placed our order. Mike came out with the fan to do the installation. He first removed our old fan, and then installed the new one, as well as the wall switch. He took extra care to balance the fan blades so that there was no vibration or motion when the fan was on. He also showed us how the switch worked.
Everyone was incredibly helpful and informative, so much more so than at any other fan store we went to.

We have three Hunter ceiling fans in our house. They have been giving us good service since 1984, but they need to be oiled periodically. I performed that task until the past few years because of eye problems that have affected my balance. I avoid going up a ladder if I can. I called FanDoctor to schedule a service call and had to leave a voice-mail message. Someone finally got back to me the following afternoon. Service was scheduled for June 29, and I was given a window from noon to 4 p.m. So, I spent that afternoon twiddling my thumbs and waiting. When no one had shown or called by 4 p.m., I called the service department and then had to wait while they contacted the tech. The service department called back and said the previous service call was taking longer than expected, but the tech would be there as soon as he finished. He finally showed up about 4:45 p.m. He checked the oil level in the three fans, added oil as needed and checked the operation of the fans. When he finally got here he did a good, professional job. He did the job and was gone within 15 minutes. I will probably get a repeat on this service, but schedule it during the off season.

Somehow, for some reason they opened the box and had to rewire for a handheld remote. When they repackaged the fan they did not put the installation instructions in the box. I live 30 miles from them and had to make two trips out there. It really angered me because I asked them before I left if everything was in the box and they said yes. The guy was talking and having a grand old time, but didn’t pay attention to what he was doing. I paid top dollar for this fan and it’s first class, but I wouldn’t go back to them. I paid 100% of retail for this fan too, there was no price break.

They were here on Wednesday and since they brought the wrong stuff, they are coming back next Monday to finish the job. They tell you that they would be here either in the morning or in the afternoon but they can’t specify closer than that. I am happy with them.

The fans were purchased at the store. The sales staff were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The installation was scheduled promptly and the installers (2) arrived promptly. They were very courteous and polite, and went about their work in a most professional manner. What a pleasure to deal with this business: we can recommend them without hesitation.

I originally bought the fan but the fan from the company that Fan Dr. is apart of, but had someone else install the fan. When there were problems I called fan doctor and they took care of everything including calling the manufacturer and a refund. They are actually coming out to install another fan free of charge which is really above and beyond what I expect form them.

Ken Ross was dispatched to do the job. He was very pleasant, courteous and professional. He completed the work in a timely manner and kept me informed of his progress. I would have appreciated that he swept up after completing the job. Both front office associates I spoke with regarding scheduling were also very courteous and professional. Overall I am very satisfied with the Fan Doctor, the experience was a refreshing change to the norm lately. I will definitely call them again!
