It went great! I had plenty of time to talk with Dale, the shop's owner, as I waited. I felt very comfortable with him, and I feel very confident that he is very knowledgable and completely honest. My car is running really well now, and I'm really glad to have found someone I trust to take care of maintenance and repair in the future. When I get a good car, I like to keep it for a long time, and I think Dale and his crew are just the guys to do it!

Their price was reasonable and they were very attentive to what they were doing. It is a family owned business, so they really want to keep their customers.

Overall I was pleased with the service; Dale, the owner and manager was quite thorough and, I felt, very sincere in his desire to provide excellent service and attention to detail. He explained that my car also has a small power steering seep but that it is not something that needs to be addressed at present. I'd gone in for a routine service, oil change and general inspection, so hadn't planned on spending much time. Because of the transmission drain and fill and cabin air filter replacement, it took considerably longer and cost more than I'd originally expected, but given the age and mileage (5 yrs, 53,000 miles) the recommendation was appropriate. I don't have any basis for comparison in terms of price; and I definitely plan on returning there for future service work as needed.

I had purchased a used car and it developed an anti freeze leak. I found Dales shop after seeing some favorable reports on the internet. Dale was very friendly and after a brief conversation on my concerns, he said they would check over the car and give me his recommendations. I was a little nervous that the would be a long laundry list of things that to be done. Dale called me and noted several things the needed attention but also reported that several things didn't need to be to be done. The anti freeze leak that I thought was going to expensive turned out to be almost nothing and there was only a few things that needed to be done now and a few that could be done down the road. overall I was very happy with Dales honest approach of only dealing with the items that needed doing and waiting on those items that would need attention later.

Fairway Auto has taken care of our family and business cars for over 8 years. I trust the work perform and have always felt as if only necessary maintenance and repairs were performed. Even though I have to drive across town to have the work performed, I never worry about my car not being ready when promised. Dale holds himself to a high standard and requires the same from his staff. The price is fair for the quality of work. Fairway backs up their work with a sterling warranty. Dale will look you in the eye and tell you the truth. The thing which is most striking about the owner Dale, is he is humble enough to admit when he makes a mistake. When I first started going to Dale with a vintage Land Cruiser, he didn't tighten down the distributor once after making an adjustment. I drove away and within 2 blocks I began having problems with the timing. I turned around and parked my vehicle at Fairway. Dale stopped what he was doing and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I am certain other mechanics could have used this opportunity to sell me another distributor. I trust Fairway and happily go out of my way to refer their service to my family and friends.
