From the "emergency" call handling to the customer service to how quickly they came out and fixed the problem, these guys were amazing. We even got a call from the technician to follow up with progress and updates on the repair. I've used them three times for different things and they have always been awesome.

We were told by a large Phoenix based HVAC company that the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced with a cost of $400 to $600.

I was referred to Expert HVAC by an electrician at Desert Mountain Electrical.  I spoke with the owner Gabe and told him the type of AC unit we had and what we were told needed to be done according to another company.  Gabe said he would do the job for $350.  He asked that I contact his office to schedule the appointment and let them know of our conversation.

I spoke with the office and they were extremely nice took all of the information down.  I had a date and time in mind and they scheduled the appointment.

The technician, Jacob, arrived on time and assessed the unit.  He was neat in appearance , knowledgeable and answered our questions.  He told us that the condenser fan motor did not need to be replaced.  The service call was $65.

Needless to say, this made our day and we appreciate the honesty. 

We would not hesitate to call Expert HVAC Services in the future and would refer them to friends and neighbors.

This company had been taking care of our geriatric HVAC unit for the past 6 years. Each time I called Gabe to come and revive it , his guys showed up and performed CPR and got our a/c or heat working again. They had recommended replacing the old unit every year but we're not pushy about it. The unit finally breathed its last just prior to Memorial Day weekend. I called on Friday of a holiday weekend and the crew had the new unit in place and cooling our house before noon the following Tuesday. All of the guys on the crew were pleasant, efficient and very competent. The crane operator they subcontracted with was amazing as well in positioning the boom in a nest of trees and not damaging any of them! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants superb service at a fair price. Our new unit won't need as much care as the old one so Gabe may have worked himself out of a job. Please call him and give him your business for the next 15-20 years. By then our new Trane might be old enough to need some service.

I called for an appointment and was able to get one within a day. While my problem was not urgent, I did appreciate the prompt service. I requested that the service technician call me 15 minutes prior to arrival so that I can leave work and meet him at my house. Rick was very friendly on the phone and in person. My problem was an Air Conditioner fan that would not shut off. He diagnosed the problem in great time and explained it to me in a language that I could understand. He took a picture of the melted part (which was in the attic) so that I did not have to climb a ladder to see it.
The part was not available until the next day (due to my location in the valley) and we communicated another rendezvous the very next day and he was able to install the part quickly.
Rick also answered my questions regarding my AC unit and I am scheduled for a tune-up call in the spring to evaluate my unit to make sure that everything is running smoothly before next summer.
Lastly, Rick went above and beyond - HE CHANGED MY AIR FILTERS!! He has no idea how much that is appreciated (as they are up in my ceiling).
I would definitely call them again for any issues I have.

I can't imagine a better experience. First I got a great price. Second
they showed up on time. The job went so well it was like synchronized
swimming ... with one crane, unit delivery and installation folks all
arriving on time. Price was so good I was able to get the 2 stage Trane
which is much more comfortable ... runs a recirculation fan a lower rpm
for comfort.

I decided to replace my 22 year old heat pump with a new high efficiency unit. I discussed my heating and cooling problem in the master bedroom with the contractors I contacted for bids. Each had a slightly different solution, all of which seemed like good solutions. I chose Expert HVAC as they presented the lowest bid, and is a small company. I prefer working with small companies, provided they are and quot;responsibleand quot;. I had confidence this was the case, as I knew other people who used Expert HVAC and they said Expert did quality work at an excellent price.
As reflected in my grades, everything went well.
There was only one negative aspect to my experience (hence the lower grade on PROFESSIONALISM). When discussing their proposal, the subject of utility rebates came up. Expert HVAC is not on APS's list of contractors, hence I found out later that I didn't qualify for APS's rebate (apparently SRP doesn't have such a requirement). The salesman was silent on this, while I believe he knew I wouldn't qualify and didn't say so, I don't know that for sure. When I discovered I couldn't get APS's rebate, I called the owner and told him about this situation. He said he would make sure his estimator would be clear on this in the future. He also explained why they've opted not to and quot;joinand quot; APS's list, essentially saying his prices make the issue of not being able to get APS's rebate a non issue (he is right about that).
My key comment about Expert HVAC is that I would use them again.

I had my A/C go out on a Friday afternoon and Gabe was able to get in and diagnose the issue quickly. Unfortunately we had to replace a fan motor that he did not have in stock. He was able to get the fan the next morning and had us up and running cold quickly. The price seemed fair as we had a few quotes over the phone, which his price was a little less.

I am very happy with them. When they replaced the unit, they did such as good job that I signed a year contract for them to maintain the unit. They were very professional and the customer service was excellent that I received from them. They also were very helpful in answering my questions and thorough; they met all of my expectations.

Gabe can out the same day I called and Serviced my units and got them all ready for a hot Arizona Summer. He tighten everything, checked all the levels and even let me know of a few problems I may have in the future with my unit. He had wonderful customer service and I plan to call him every year for my AC tune up.
