Overall, we are happy with the outcome. However, the job took six months. The first six weeks went smoothly and they showed up for work every day. During the replumbing work, we asked them to bid on repainting the exterior of our house. When their bid came back at more than triple the quote we had from someone else, we said nevermind the painting; stick to finishing the kitchen. At this point, the workers would show up a day here and there, and we never knew when they were coming. Weeks would go by without seeing Tom, the contractor, even when the workmen were here. He is a very good saleman, but, functionally, is not a contractor. The irony is that Russell and Lance, the two guys who did the bulk of the work, are A+ from start to finish. Their work is top notch and their integrity is solid.
