The showed up late, the workers were more interested in chatting than moving - the job was done but I put them on my "do not call back" list. Price was high for this level of service.

We were very happy with them. The two men who came were efficient, friendly, and took good care of our things. Also, the pick up and delivery were on the dates we wanted. In the past when we moved we weren't able to specify dates, we really appreciated setting the dates our selves. All of our things were on one truck and no one else's possessions were in this truck.

IIt went well overall. John Clarke did everything that he said he would. Two important positive features of this move which were very important: a) he gave me both a specific pick-up date and delivery date and kept to this schedule and b) the same two professional workers both packed and loaded the van and then unloaded and put in place at the delivery location.

I am very pleased with the services rendered. First, I contacted Roger over the phone, and after going over my apartment size and the kinds of things in it, he gave me an estimate in terms of time, and the corresponding cost. He gave me a discount for being an Angie’s List member. Three men arrived 30 minutes earlier than their appointed time, and since I was ready, got busy packing and moving things to the truck. They were all courteous, and professional. I had an opportunity to speak with two of them at greater length, and I was very pleased to discover that they loved working for their company. They were happy with how they were treated; this conversation gave me confidence that I had engaged a company that cared for its staff and its customers. The three men were diligent—the amount of time that they took was in line with Roger’s estimates over the phone.

Our experience with Early Bird Moving was fabulous! We spoke to the owner John and he gave us a very accurate estimate of the cost of our move. When I left a message we received a very prompt return phone call and we were on the schedule in a reasonable amount of time. Our move took place on a Sunday, which worked perfect for us. Our crew arrived during the window that was given and the crew that was sent was very personable and responsible. The 3 men worked non-stop with only a short break for lunch. They were extremely flexible and helpful as we decided what was to go to the new house and what was to go to storage. They never once complained if we changed our mind and something had to be reloaded. Actually, they did everything we asked with a smile. Also, they used pads and plastic wrap on all of our items and completed the entire move without one scratch! They were phenomenal! We are planning to look for a summer home and will without a doubt use them again for that move. We would highly recommend them to all our family and friends!

They were on time and did a great job. They worked hard in the heat of the July Phoenix summer, and I was real happy with the work. Everything was as it should have been and nothing was damaged. They were prompt and courteous. I cannot think of any weak points. I paid about $400 plus, and I tipped the guys $20 apiece. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I used Angie's list to find Early Bird Moving & Storage to move my son on Sep 1, 2011 from his old residence to his new home across the valley to another city. The 2 movers arrived on time and helped to pack last minute items. The even gave bottle water to my grand-daughter as it was extremely hot day in Arizona. They wraped the furniture with blankets and careful with things. When they arrived at the new home, they placed and setup the furniture and the boxes where I wanted. There was no damage to anything. The movers were courteous, helpful and friendly. The cost ot the move was fair and reasonable. I was very satisfied with the total move that I gave them a gratuity. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They didn’t bring sufficient size truck so I had to hire someone else also. I was very disappointed with that. They should have come and looked at the house at noon. I wouldn’t use them in the future.

"Early Bird Moving respects all of Angie's List customers and unfortunately we must respond to this review. This review is completely inaccurate and false. The Customer called us on a Tuesday afternoon and we moved him the next day on Wednesday morning. We discussed his move on the phone and let him know the limitations for our truck size. He said it was fine and that his original move was done in a Semi and he didn't expect it could be done with one truck. He was offered the option for Two trucks which he declined. We showed up the next day at 8:30 AM exactly in the middle of our 8AM to 9AM window. We estimated his move verbally at 9 hours and an estimated price of $1000, we completed the customer move in 6 hours for a total $700 charge almost half the price he reported to Angie's List. Needless to say, beating your hourly estimate by 3 hours and coming in $300 less than your quote should get you better than a D on pricing. Arriving in the middle or your one hour window for a next day move less than 18 hours after booking is apparently a C in the customers opinion. Also, performing a move in 18 hours after booking earns you a C grade for responsiveness. Lastly and sadly our overall Grade of a D is just as baffling considering or five component scores were D,B,C,C,C and last time I learned about how to average this would average to a C not a D. This review is false and slanderous. We outperformed all expectations for this move including price, timeliness, responsiveness, customer service, and quality of work. I'm sad that the grades we received in this review are even outside the scope of opinion and into the realm of just pure lies and slander. As you can tell by our other reviews and the amount of "page of happiness" nominations we receive, this review is not consistent with how we do business. They were outstanding. They showed up on time with all the tools for the move. They worked hard, loaded us quickly and professionally. We paid around $165 per hour for four people which was about $30 cheaper than any competitor. Plus, they were faster than other moving companies we've used in the past. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitiely use them again!

Arrived on time. Both men worked quickly and efficiently. We provided lunch and they made sure we were not charged for that time period. They had to make an unscheduled stop to place some of our items in storage...no complaints. They ended up working much longer than anticipated due to our needs (not their service), yet no complaints or concerns expressed about working until 7 pm. We were so pleased that we have recommended Always There to other family members who will be moving within the next few weeks.

It went better than I ever imagined. Two men, who were very congenial and efficient, came with a well equipped truck and all the equipment needed to do the job well. They charged by the hour, so I was a bit apprehensive about not knowing the final charge; but their efficiency resulted in a bill that was less than they had estimated.
