I had a pretty unusual request which involved installing a gate and fence inside of my house. But the owner was super accommodating and was able to pull off the job with ease. Iâ  m super impressed with the quality of work and the time it took. Would recommend the business to anyone who needed it

DS Dave Smith Welding provided unacceptable work in attempting to repair an entry gate to my house that was sticking and unable to open. After the repair work was done, it did not resolve the problem. The gate was in worse condition than before the work was started. Old hinges were removed leaving screw holes in the gate. New hinges welded leaving uneven gaps between the gate posts and gate. The gate continues to stick when trying to open it. I requested that the money charged should be returned due to unacceptable work and the sticking problem not resolved. DS Welding did not denied my request.

David was personable and let me know when he would be there and was right on time.

What a difference! David was super professional and the only contractor willing to to come out to look at my gate before giving me a quote. He was communicative, prompt and professional explaining to me what was wrong with the gate and what he would do so I understood everything. We even discussed replacing the wood slats and the cost for that. On the scheduled morning he and Aiden arrived right on time and fixed the gate quickly. When looking at the gate David sanded the existing wood slats and I liked it so much we decided to keep the old wood slats, just sand them. The door itself is like new again, it opens and closes smoothly. I am so happy, I would highly recommend D.S. Welding to anyone who needs metal work done.
