Hiring this company was a bad decision for many reasons. I was told that an arborist would be actively involved in managing the crew trimming. The arborist would also identify the best place for the new lemon tree. I authorized the $5000 job and never saw the arborist again. I was not happy with the trimming and the lemon tree was disappointing, more of a lemon twig. After several months of calling and writing to try to get someone to help resolve the lemon tree issue I was put in contact with one of the owners. I showed him a picture of the lemon tree they planted for $1000 then I showed him a picture of the $900 lemon tree I purchased from a local nursery. After an exhausting litany of his excuses, I agreed to a $300 credit and was assured a check would be sent right away. I had to follow up again a week later because I had not received the check, an oversight they said. You know I mustâ ve called that place at least 30 times over the past few months and the customer service person who always answers pretended every time that she had no clue who I was. I finally received the check and thought this nightmare was over. I was just notified by my bank yesterday that the check bounced, insufficient funds.

I have been using Design Tree Maintenance since I first moved into my home, which has been almost six years. Usually Nick, the arborist, comes out to give me an estimate about trimming two trees, but this time I sent a few photos and he was able to email me the estimate. The work was done as scheduled. My trees now have just the right balance and yet still provide shade. Clean up was complete, and there were no hidden charges. This is a great company. I hope to continue using their services for many years to come. And I highly recommend them.

All levels of Design Tree Maintenance's personnel are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Their workmanship has been outstanding during the several years l have used their services. My trees were trimmed and received injections that brought them back to life. A proper watering drip system was installed. It correctly waters my trees and has lowered the cost of water usage.
