We had three different companies come in to give us quotes.  Design's quote had the lowest square footage and the best rate.  Heather was very professional, informative and helpful.  They did exactly what they said they would do.  I would recommend them to anyone that needs kitchen counters.  Going to their showroom and picking out the slab for our counter was very helpful.

We worked with Heather at Design & Stone and our experience was excellent.  She was very punctual when she came out to measure for the estimate (very important to us) and came back out to meet the installer to create the template because we couldn't be there to let him in.  Heather was very helpful and quick to answer our questions.  The installation was done professionally and right on time.  We are very pleased with our new counter tops and would definitely recommend the company.  If you need the old counter tops removed and hauled away, just make sure your estimate includes it.  We were surprised that it didn't, but it all worked out in the end and their price was very reasonable.    

We were referred to them by a contractor that I was using.  We were
impressed by their knowledge and professionalism as soon as we entered
the showroom.  Chloe runs a very tight ship!  They have a good selection
of pre-fab cabinets and granite to choose from.  We were not looking to
do a fancy remodel but we have remodeled kitchens before and have a
good feel for quality.  These cabinets have solid hinges and drawer
mechanisms.  That is part of what decided us from other companies we
were looking at.  Chloe came out and measured and had some good ideas to
improve the flow and function.  They do all the granite and cabinet
installs in-house so they are in control of their quality and their
timing.  They were even able to customize some of the granite cuts to give us a curved counter top in
one area.  The whole project went smoothly and came in without any
surprises.  We have recommended them to many friends who have loved our
kitchen.

I was completed satisfied. Chloe and John explained the process clearly and were easy to work with. John came to my home, measured the countertop, prepared the quotation, and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the final result -- many, many complements. I received quotations from four companies. This company stood out from the rest in its professionalism.

THE BUSINESS IS RUN BY WOMEN, THEY MAKE GRANITE AFFORDABLE AND USE HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS. I WAITED A COUPLE WEEKS FOR INSTALLATION BECAUSE I PREFERRED WHOLE PIECES ON MY LONGER COUNTERTOPS, RATHER THAN HAVING THEM PIECED TOGETHER. THEREFORE THEY HAD TO BE ORDERED. BUT THEY DO HAVE SMALLER PIECES IN STOCK. REGARDLESS, THE PRICE VERY REASONABLE. THE SERVICE IS FRIENDLY. ESTIMATES ARE FREE. THEY DO EXTEND THEIR SERVICES BEYOND COUNTY LINES WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE. THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS BEAUTIFUL. IT'S WAS WELL THE COST. I BELIEVE THEY ALSO INSTALL CABINETS FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING A COMPLETE KITCHEN/BATH MAKEOVER.
