We had an excellent experience with Robert, the owner of Desert Sun Garage.  He did everything himself.  All communication was great - he called when he said he would and showed up when he promised.  He also made another trip to bring me a sample of the metal color I was considering before I ordered it.  He made sure to fit us in and install our garage doors before the school year started which was important to me. He did all the work himself.  He is a very hard worker, extremely honest, very friendly, and never tries to sell you anything you don't need.  He also set up the keypad for us to access both garage doors; showed me how everything worked (and the doors opened and closed very smoothly and quietly), and hauled away all the old doors, etc.
We had used Robert in the past to fix the springs on our old garage doors every few years when they broke. He always did so for a very reasonable price, and never tried to get us to buy new garage doors because they were still working properly.  When we finally decided to replace them, I did not hesitate to call Robert and give him the business without shopping around elsewhere.

Robert did a great job installing my new garage door and opener. I knew that I wanted all this - he didn't try to upsell me on anything. I decided I wanted an insulated door, and I have been very happy with it. He was honest, punctual, clean, performed the work quickly, and charged exactly what he said he would. I used him because a co-worker recommended him, and I would recommend him too. He was a very nice guy. I think his price is reasonable. This isn't a big company, and he does not pressure you to buy anything. The new door he installed is very quiet and the installation is tight so bugs don't get in when the door is closed. It has been 2 years since the installation, and I am still very happy with everything he did.

First he evaluated the problem with our garage door. He then told us that he could try an approach to fix the garage door (less expensive) or just replace the whole door. We chose to fix the door. The fix worked and the garage door works well now. There is a crease in the door (from the original accident that caused the problem) , but the door works fine. I was happy that he did not try to push me into replacing the door right from the start.  Since I rarely need work done on my garage door, I don't really know how his fee for this work ($180) compares to other companies.  It seemed like a fair price for what he did.

They were excellent. He took care of the repair promptly and he did a good job. His price was very fair. He is a really nice and he is honest. He delivers what he promises.

I could not have asked for more. When I called, he answered his cell phone immediately. He was a few miles away, and said he could be there within a half-hour. He gave me a ballpark estimate on the phone based on my description of the problem, and his final price was within his phone estimate. He arrived in 20 minutes, and completed the work within 40 minutes at a more-than-fair price. He was friendly and conscientious. He is clearly intent on doing a great job at a reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone, without any reservations whatsoever!

The experience and service were EXCELLENT. I called Robert and explained the problem. He asked if our cars were trapped in the garage, to which I replied, "Yes." He said he would be out in 30 minutes, which he was. The garage door was fixed within 60 minutes of me first calling him.

Robert was great! He had a great selection of door styles to choose from at very reasonable rates. The door came in just a few days. The work took only 2 days. Robert was reliable, professional, and friendly. He was there when he said he would be there. We're very pleased with the service and LOVE our new door! I recommend him to anyone!

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT, & HELPFUL. WE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR NOT OPENING & THOUGHT THE ENTIRE DOOR MIGHT HAVE TO BE REPLACED, BUT THE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT THE CABLES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AS OUR EXISTING ROLL-UP DOOR IS MORE STURDY THAN SOME OF THE NEWER TYPES. WE HAVE USED THIS BUSINESS MORE THAN ONCE.

ROBERT WAS RIGHT ON TIME, VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. WAS ABLE TO FIX MY DOOR AFTER I BENT IT WITH MY VAN. JOB TOOK ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I WILL BE SURE TO CALL DESERT SUN AGAIN!

THIS COMPANY WAS BY FAR THE MOST COMPETITIVE IN REGARDS TO PRICE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT IN ARRIVAL, COURTEOUS, AND WORKED EFFICIENTLY TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN THE SUMMER HEAT OF PHOENIX. TOTAL TIME FOR COMPLETION WAS APPROX 45 MINUTES.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND PROMPT. THEY CONTINUE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE AT NO CHARGE AND HAVE EVEN HELPED ME REPROGRAM MY GARAGE DOOR OPENER! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
