Wade took time to explain the problem and how he would repair it. I also asked him his opinion on our garage doors (as they are quite old); he assessed the overall condition of the doors and explained how he could completely recondition the doors and all the parts to extend their life. He also gave some general information about new doors and costs so that we could compare. The information was useful and will help us make an informed choice about replacing or reconditioning our doors for the future. I felt Wade was sincere in answering my questions and offering suggestions--it was very low pressure.
Most importantly, he repaired the spring in a timely manner (and cleaned up the mess), which allowed us to resume our usual and convenient routine of parking in our garage.
