Terrible, 3-4 day job took 2 weeks . Paid in full and supposed to have 2 year warranty. Expressed displeasure of quality of job and asked to have owner come out to check my concerns and to leave paint for touch ups, paint was left at house and no word on my concerns about lack of quality of work again. Texture and paint doesn’t even come close to original lace design on deck. Would not recommend this company to do work on pool decks.

"Here is what I stated to this homeowner, and to others, 'that a patch by any other name is just a patch'. The deck was in need of a complete remodel due to many hollow spots throughout the deck area. We were contracted just to patch, and not do a complete remodel. We did the best that we could. By text, to my construction manager, the homeowner stated to let the patching go and the color became the issue. My last contact, as the owner, was to drop off the paint as requested by the homeowner. Over the 30+ years of doing patch repairs and complete remodels we have had a spotless record with the BBB and the Registrar of Contractors. Since this review was left, I have been in contact with the homeowner and the issue was taken care of."

My pool's Kool deck was in dire need of repair or replacement. I decided to go with "Deck Services because of their various ""A"" ratings. And, the fact that they have been " in business for 40+ years (but, now Angie's List it shows 60+ years). If they've been in business that long they must be doing something right. The owner was punctual & professional. His workers were nice however, we never knew when they were going to show up, how long they'd be gone for lunch or what time they left. I asked them to tell us since we had 2 dogs locked in the house while they were working. The finished product looked pretty good, from what I could see, since it was too cold to get in the pool. I didn't like it at the separation between the pool & the in-ground spa. The owner sent them out, weeks later, to fix the area. By the end of the swim season I started seeing some hairline cracks, etc. I called the owner again but, he had just lost a loved one. So, I gave him several months before asking him to send them back out. They did eventually come out & fixed the areas. Once swimming season started again I started seeing all kinds of hair line cracks, a rather large "crack by the steps & some sort of gouge right by the top step. Again, "adequate" seems to be the new norm.

They did an excellent job of repairing a cantilever pool deck and recoating the surface.
