DAVE ROSS-PIANO TUNING & REPAIR

He was amazing. He came with his special piano tools and the magic began. After tuning he played that piano like its never been played before. Absolutely beautiful. That concert was worth the price alone. Our family almost can't wait to have the piano go out of tune so we can have him back. A+++

Dave showed up at my door with a condescending attitude that did not subside during his visit. It was interesting to hear someone so proud of himself, I thought it was just his sales technique so I employed my own act. I told him I know nothing about piano and was just learning, to see how far he would take his know-it all attitude.. I assume he only stayed 20 minutes because he was from the Far East valley and had traveled to my far West valley home. It was not enough time to bring my piano into tune and he left in a hurry without ensuring accuracy. I still need a tune I told Dave, who was recommended by a mover i used, that I would like the piano tuned and regulated. He tried to lie to me and tell it did not need regulation, I told him I would like the service performed and he claimed it could hurt my piano. In the end, this guy was such a jerk I wanted to cancel the check,, but this HONEST review will have to do, because after calling him back that day and leaving a message a day for a week. He will not return my call.

The experience was very nice. He got back to me quickly to set up an appointment. He called before showing up and showed up on time. He tuned it up and it sounds great.

My piano is baby grand and has been in the family for 100 years. It had been moved across the country several times as well as room to room. Because of this the keys were sticking terribly and it was way out of tune, not mention a little dusty! Dave came, looked at the piano, discovered everything I mentioned above, plus he found when checking a few of the pins they had become loose. He said this was caused because of all the tuning over the last century, the holes in some of the boards had been "bored" out (gotten bigger). So he recommended using a special adhesive compound to administer around the pins, which would fill in the expanded holes and allow the piano to be well tuned. We let it set for a few days, then Dave came back and fine tuned the piano and it sounds wonderful!

He came out the same day and was appalled at the job the previous tuner did. He told me he thought it was a scam and that I should tell Angie's List. Dave was really nice and tuned my piano for no charge. He was very professional and took his time working on our piano. I would call him back in a minute.

Everything went smoothly and efficiently from arranging the appointment through payment for Dave's service. The fee was the same as advertised and Dave was very pleasant and professional.

He was prompt, friendly, professional, and did a great job.

HE HAD THE LOWEST QUOTED PRICE. THE PIANO WAS TUNED VERY CAREFULLY OVER ABOUT 70 MINUTES TIME. IT SOUNDS GREAT!

HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, GAVE ME MORE THAN ONE OPTION IN HOW I COULD HAVE THE WORK DONE, IN COST, AND IN FOLLOW-UP. KNEW HIS WAY AROUND A PIANO.
