We sold our house five days after contacting Congress Realty.  We sold our house without even putting up a For Sale sign!

Got the job done right, and they rebated me. Couldn't be more pleased with the service. Competent and knowledgeable professions.

I was referred by a friend to Congress Realty. He had used their buyer rebate services about a year or so ago. I contacted them and they explained how they work with sellers to save money. Basically, I paid them $299 to put my property on the MLS and I offered a 3% commission to a buyer's agent who brought me a buyer. Admittedly, my subdivision is in a pretty desirable area, however, I had showings almost immediately after listing. I priced the property competitively as well. Overall, I was a bit shocked how simple the process was and how easy it was to sell my property. The way I look at it is that I cut my total commission fees in half compared to normal b/c I cut out the listing agent side of things. (The offer I accepted was brought by a buyer's agent from West USA, thus, I did pay the 3% buyer agent commission)
Overall, I would recommend Congress Realty to any seller who wants to save money but is willing to pay a buyer's agent.

Congress Realty has done everything they said they would, getting our listing up right away, and allowing us to change our listing when we want. They are very responsive and professional. It is unfortunate that we have not been able to sell our townhouse so far, but I'm not sure that a "full service" real estate agent would have produced any different result.
