 + -1 moreOutstanding, no many things in life are free, this is one is. Consider your home having a solar system; your re-sale value could be higher or more saleable in today?s Real Estate market. No question this is a no brainer, the Federal Government, State Government and Electric Companies are all given grants to install Solar Systems, all you have to do, is endorse the grants to the installers and a monthly fee. How much simple can it be? We did not pay anything at all, not a dime. Draw backs: The power companies are not happy, any electricity extra you produce, they have to buy it back and give a credit, that is money they loose and you gain.
Description of Work: Solar panels were installed in our home free of charge. Had problems with SRP Electric, delaying the turn the up system. I guess they would lose money as soon my panels started running. There was no incentive for SRP to be efficient at all. However, Clean Energy Systems, were there pushing and calling SRP constantly on our behalf to turn the system up. There was no cost to us at all, we do have a monthly fee of $60.00 for the type of system we have. Our monthly saving is approximately $180.00 minus the $60.00 fees. So, about $120.00 per month saving to us. All that without spending a dime. It is a no brainer, you can't lose. Very happy with the results.
