CBP of Arizona was recommended by AC from Eddie and Son when the applied stucco to my house.  I contacted them for an extimate.  Chris Bridge came out to give me an estimate.  They were to apply an acrylic coat to the new stucco and then 2 coats of paint.  I have a porch in the back and the wood needed to be repainted the secondary color.  He also gave me an estimate to repaint my pool fence,  He suggested that I go to where he buys his paint and have someone there help me pick out the colors I wanted to use.  I had an idea of what I wanted, but not the exact shades.  They have an online site and that along with a visit to the store itself really helped get the colors correct. 
A worker came out the first day to start to prep the house.  The next 2 days had a crew of 2 or 3 people to finish prepping and start painting.  They had plastic down to protect the area around the house.  After they were done they cleaned up the areas very well.  I would recommend Chris and his company to anyone and I expect to call them for some interior painting next year.

GREAT!!!  Chris Brown is the owner of CBP of Arizona, and clearly a man of great integrity!
His very competent crew prepped and painted our back patio February 2011 using an appropriate product.  It looked great for about seven-eight months.  But over time, wherever the floor was exposed to the sun and was not covered by a rug, the color changed from the sandy brown color that we chose, to a green (and not a good green either) color.  It did not hold up to the western sun exposure that pounded our back patio everyday.
Long story short, I called Chris this past April to ask him about it.  When he saw what had happened, he immediately contacted the manufacturer representative that he worked with regularly and explained how the product failed where exposed to direct sunlight. To both our disappointment, the representative of the paint company did not demonstrate the same level of integrity as Chris Brown. He did not back his product.  We were hoping he would suggest what might have gone wrong and perhaps offer us a new/better product---no such luck.  So Chris did some research and found a product from a different company that specifically stated that it will not fade in direct sunlight.  
CBP completely re-prepped and re-painted the entire patio at their own expense.  It looks fantastic and because CBP stands behind their work, it cost us nothing!  You just don't find that kind of integrity in the world everyday anymore!!!

The estimator was knowledgable and professional and very helpful. We appreciated that he pointed out needed things that we had not thought of. The painters arrived on time and were efficient and courteous. Trees near the house needed to be trimmed to allow access to the walls, and they did a good job of trimming them without butchering them. They cleaned up well, and when I pointed out that some paint chips had landed in a neighbor's yard the immediately picked them up. They responded timely to the first call, but after that the office was totally incommunicado. We needed information about method of payment and left message after message over several days, but none were returned until after the bill came. Our calls still were not being returned. Finally I left a message saying we WOULD NOT leave credit card information on an answering machine or send it in an email, and that she MUST return our calls. My inclination is to give an F on responsiveness, but this is just too good a company to pick at an inconvenience. Despite the unresponsiveness of the office I would highly recommend them.

It was an excellent experience.  They used quality supplies, began and finished work in a timely fashion and cleaned up the workspace on a daily basis.  The supervisor checked with me to clarify issues and concerns, and the finished product was great.  The whole experience exceeded my expectations.  Although on the expensive side, I would definitely use this company again.

This is a great company to work with... Chris Bridge is very customer friendly and was able to get me scheduled the next day after i called him. He also ensured that all work was done to satisfaction.

I had a deadline to get the room painted in order to set up a home office. I didn't know if it could be done but CBP was able to schedule right away. The painter was there for a day and the room looks great.

We have always loved our home.  It is a two story Victorian that looks like something from another time.  I don't usually write testimonials nor do I believe those I read however, the outstanding paint job that CBP completed a few weeks back had made our home the star of the neighborhood.  Superintendant Matt and journeyman painter Trey, tended to the smallest details.  Pipes, metal fixtures, exterior light housings were color matched to the home.  We did not think to ask for that treatment but their initiative towards perfection and attention to the tiniest details turned a beautiful home into a show place.  There is not a single day I enter our drive that I don't admire our home and the work that CBP completed.  The paint staff was good humored, courteous and pleasant company.  I come from an era where a handshake and a man's word were something you could rely on.  Without question, owner Chris Bridges is one of those people where a handshake and a man's word are sacred.  CBP, thank you for an outstanding job and a pleasant experience.

The Good: CBP was the only one of four companies providing estimates who were 1) willing to backroll the mainly horizontal stucco pattern on out house instead of just spray, and 2) replace a split slat on a man gate prior to painting. The finished backrolled surfaces do in fact appear to be covered better than the previous two spray-only paintings the house has had, especially on a large unbroken expanse with heavy sun exposure (only time will really tell). The slat repair blends in as perfectly as could be. Overspray was not a problem even in some very tight spaces the architect clearly did not consider how would be painted. All staff were punctual, responsive, and pleasant to work with. The Bad: I received an email late Friday (job to begin Monday) that they'd made a $900 error on our invoice. Our insurance company had already approved the lower price; this may eventually be resolved, but has delayed interior painting repairs (we may end up doing them ourselves) in order to stay on schedule for the exterior. It took their estimate from the lowest, to the highest. They did offer 5% off for the inconvenience, but I note they now offer a 5% coupon to Angie'sList members anyway. Attention to detail fell short of other painting companies we used in the past: wall sconces reinstalled upside down, some minor touchups in the contract were missed, a few pieces of masking paper and wads of tape were left in the yard (windy week, large yard, but...), 5x10-foot swath of crushed granite in their washout area is so heavily paint-stained it needs replacement. In short: I would consider using them again because they competently addressed problems other companies wouldn't, but I shouldn't have to drag out my own ladder to reinstall fixtures, or match, buy and haul 100# of landscape granite, after a simple repaint.

I am very happy with the overall job and work ethic. Good communication. Excellent crew and foreman assigned.

upon calling CBP the gentleman said they didn't do the plastering part but gave us the phone number of the person he used for their plastering jobs. his name is James Edward Prevo. Phone number 602 828 6801. He brought a gentleman named Thomas who did an excellent job of surface texturing while James did the prepping. Neither of these people are employees of CBP but are their subcontractors. The job was completed including cleanup in 2 1/2 days and the price of the job included all of the materials they used and when they left they said we could start painting the next day. Thomas did such an excellent job that there was almost no sanding that was necessary...the man knows how to use a trowel. we would recommend James and team because even thought I knew what I wanted he brought forth suggestions that made what I wanted even better...so my thanks to CBP for having a good subcontractor under their wing.

Their pricing was moderately high. The paint job is holding up pretty well. They were on time, and they did a good job.

They charged me $5000 for the job. My house wasn?t painted for 20 years. They had to do a lot of repairs. They stand behind their work. If I have any problem, they will come out again. They will take care of things. They were very punctual. They gave me an estimate and did what they said they would do. They told me about what I could do. They are very flexible. If you want the whole job done, you can do that. If you are trying to contain the cost, they will help you with that as well. I found them very easy to work with. I will use them again in the future.

We have used him in the past for our own and we are using him to paint the interior of my mother?s home. The crew is very professional and they did a great job.

They sent sent someone out a couple of days after the work was finished just to check on things. They could do the work a little bit sooner than the other companies I contacted for estimates, which was a big reason why I went with them. They didn?t normally use the paint that I wanted, but they did it at my request. They gave us a discount based on how much I was getting done.

Great job; they worked well with us to choose colors and we went through lots of sample painting of small areas before choosing. Entire process was very professional with a lot of attention to detail; Would have thought it was cheaper given the economy and all but the quality was well worth it

I got estimates from three of the highest rated painters from The List. Despite the fact that his estimate was the HIGHEST of the three, I choose Chris Bridge Painting of Arizona because I felt I was going to get the highest quality job from his firm vs the others I interviewed. I was not disappointed. Chris came out to give me an estimate himself and he offered some things that the other two didn't even mention such as as two coats of paint, a 5 year warrenty from Dunn Edwards, that he can replace the weathered wood trim around my service door, and fill in water-damaged stem wall with Perma Patch 101 (not just paint over it). His crew was professional and curteous, and each day they told me what they were going to do and if I had any questions or comments. They cleaned up well at the conclusion of the three day job and when I called the supervisor with a question after completion, he even offered to come out again if need be. The exterior of my home looks better than new.
