I had my car's windshield replaced twice by this company, actually on the same car, and only 8 months apart. I had a great experience both times. And I was a little worried about the quality of the product after having another large crack just 8 months after the first replacement. But it must have just been bad luck with a rock on the road, as I got the exact same windshield both times, and this last one has been in for 15 months, and it still looks great.
I found Blue Chip on Angie's List, and they had great ratings. I called the first time and spoke to someone at length about their options for windshields and which would go best in my particular car. The person I talked to was great / friendly / patient / and helpful; I even called back once or twice to verify some things, and never got a hassle - always courteous and helpful. They were able to schedule the appointment to do the work at my house and within a week, maybe sooner I forget. They showed up on time. The repair technician was actually the same guy both times. He was friendly, and he let me know exactly what he'd be doing and how long it would take. He gave me some specific things to avoid for the first few hours after the install and the first day or so - no big deal, just not driving for a few hours, and not slamming the door for a day (again, I may be off on specific time frame, it's been a while, but I don't remember it causing any issues for me). The technician was efficient and the windshield literally looked as good as new. After 15 months of normal use, I've never had ANY issues with the windshield.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The 'B' rating for PRICE was because there are companies who will do it for less money, but I wanted quality, and that's what I got. I would highly recommend Blue Chip to anyone needing a new windshield.

Blue Chip Auto Glass, in my experience, is a MAGNITUDE more competent and professional than any provider that I have used in the past 20 years. As of an hour ago, the job that they performed on location appears to be perfect. All other windshield replacements (performed by the most prominent glass chain in the Valley) that I recall having done were usually sloppy or poorly aligned and required a second visit, after which it was still not nearly as good as Blue Chip's first and only attempt. This is a job that requires knowledge and skill, and Blue Chip showed that they had both. I highly recommend this company. Also, they handled all the insurance paperwork issues.

Perfect from start to finish. Cost is unknown as it was covered by my zero deductible glass coverage. Referred (informally) by my insurance agent, and I verified an A rating on Angies prior to calling. Called to make the appointment, then the agent asked to call back in five minutes with the insurance company on the line to authorize the repair. She did call back promptly and the three way call that authorized the repair was a good use of time. The tech arrived inside the two hour scheduled service window and I also got a pre-arrival call when the tech was en route. The tech pointed out a few items around the vehicle where he would be working that had marks or might be considered damaged ( paint damage/door ding, some door molding cuts in the door rubber). He finished the work without issue and gave the warnings to not drive the vehicle for an hour and not get a car wash for a day.

They were on time, very courtiously explaning each step of the process. The workmanship was excellent, seams were perfect. The whole task took only 45 minutes. They did all the coordination with the insurance company and it cost me nothing. Would highly recommend this company.

These guys are Top Notch. From the time I called to get an estimate, to installation. I needed a windshield installed on an older German sports car. So I'm very picky about who or whom works on my baby. These guys were very professional and exceeded my expectations.

Price was just under some other companies. They made a point to tell me the glass manufacturer they use, not that I know anything about that but it was good to know in case I wanted to check or compare to other companies. Overall the customer service was outstanding, thanks Kelly. The installer was prompt, clean and professional and answered all questions I had. I would definitely use them if needed again and recommend them to anyone.
