It went fantastic! Jesus was my point of contact and he was prompt, pleasant, professional and everything he said actually happened! We received a great price compared to the other granite companies estimates, the installation was perfect, I could not of asked for a better install job and every appointment we set was kept on time. They were able to install much faster than anyone else buying one – two weeks. I'm contacting them to do another project because that is how much I enjoyed working with them and appreciated the quality of their work.

Better Homes quality of Cabinets is pretty good. Not a custom cabinet maker by any stretch. The cabinets all come from China and are assembled here in Phoenix. There are several grades and we chose the low side of the high end cabinets they sell. The delivery time was short and they did deliver on time as promised. The installation is where they totally fell down. The cabinet hanging turned into a less than average outcome. Even after 3 corrective visits, the end results is not what we had expected. Cabinets are all uniform in size and dimensions. Hanging and placement of them was not done correctly and the issues compounded into other problems. When it came to cabinets being level, square and matching from right to left; Lower Cabinets left of the range were 1/4" higher than right of range. Upper over the range Slot where Microwave installs was off center of Lower Range slot by 3/4". Doors mounted height does not match from cabinet door to door. Not square or perpendicular to adjacent cabinets. Wide gap at bottom between doors, narrow gap at top of same. Wrong hardware used instead of waiting to get the right stuff and finishing the job properly later. Door pulls not level with each other but the doors are not level with one another either. One corner lower cabinet is 1/2" further forward than opposite side cabinets that created a granite alignment problem. Not easy to see with naked eye unless you look at the tile grout lines on the floor and see one cabinet is further out than its opposite match. This problem created a bigger problem under sink since plumbing now aligns with right side of cabinet. This could have been fixed by either mounting cabinet where it belongs and flush with opposite OR cutting the plumbing back and putting a 45 bend in drain pipe to clear right side of cabinet. Instead they hacked out a big part of the right side of the cabinet and the rear of the cabinet to get clearance of plumbing. This was a huge Red flag for me but too late after already being cut out. Height mismatch in left of range to right of range countertop/granite height created a visible issue with backsplash since the glass mosaic backsplash could not match up on parallel lines. This is a glaring visible problem and not really fixable at this stage. All these poor workmanship issues compounded along the way to end up with pretty crappy installation of the all the pieces. Calls and email complaints yielded little except they showed their installer the emails and pictures and sent him back out to fix things but too little too late. Even so installers were professional acting. It's just the work itself was not up to par of what we would consider acceptable. Now we are stuck with a botched up, "New" kitchen.

We loved working with Better Homes Cabinets & Granite.  We had two different cabinet companies come to give us an estimate for new cabinets in our kitchen.  The kitchen was completely gutted so Larry from Better Homes Cabinets & Granite had to measure the entire kitchen and recommend the layout of our kitchen.  After giving Larry some input we ended up with a layout that we loved.  We got beautiful cabinets from Better Homes Cabinets & Granite at a very affordable price.  We decided to have a friend install them to save us money and Larry was very helpful with all of the questions we had.  We did decide to go with another company for granite.
I can't say enough great things about Better Homes Cabinets & Granite.  Larry was always great at returning my calls....it was almost like he worked just for me!

Project had some rough patches in the beginning due to the sales guy not being very good at measuring or planning space (he quit after bid and before job started) but to their credit, Steve and company followed through and fixed the mistakes at their cost.

I have used them again for additional work since and received the same punctuality and professionalism again. Would recommend them to friends.

We dealt with Larry Padraza from start to finish. He and the entire Better Homes group did everything they said they would do and then some. The cabinets and granite were installed on time on budget and with excellent results. We love our new kitchen. This was a part of a complete renovation and these folks did a great job. We would recommend them to anyone.

It went awesome

I spoke with company representative and arranged an appointment for an estimate.  Company rep was on time and very professional.  An estimate was provided within one week which was very competitive with other bids.  Workers arrived about 2 hours late for the demolition, but were finished in half a day.  Cleanup was very thorough.  A date was set for the cabinet and granite installation, which was honored and on time.  The cabinets are of very good quality and the installation of cabinets and granite was very good.  The cabinet selection was somewhat limited but adequate for my taste.  The company provided a good choice of granite.  I would recommend this company to friends, family and others.

Bill was easy to schedule and was on time to meet with us.  He provided the drawings within a day for two different options we were considering.  When I purchased the deal I had hoped we would get color 3-D renderings and he only offers black and white, this was not something that the deal had promised so it was not misrepresented it's just that is what I had hoped for.  The estimate was very detailed, our challenge is we want full slab doors which they do not do and also we want quartz countertops and they specialize in granite.  Thus it was not a good fit for our needs.  Overall Bill was professional and followed up after providing the estimate to see if we had further questions.

Called Bill who came out next morning for estimate of bath changes. We then went to his on-site manufacturing office, chose cabinet, sinks, granite. His employees came the next day to demolish & install cabinet/sinks/selected drawer pulls. We did have to have a plumber plumb for double sinks/purchased faucets. Within3-4 days, entire job was completed. Results are beautiful. All men were professional, quiet, quick and pleasant. Overall, this was extraordinary! We also received an estimate for a kitchen re-do and will use this company again for the remodel.

Bill Lopiccolo, the estimator, was SO patient! He came out 4-5 times before I contracted to go with him. I can't wait to give him my last payment for a job well done!

Very smoothly and efficiently.  No problems and any questions I had were quickly answered.  Absolutely no complaints.

.  they don't do any plumbing  installers could communicate better  they took my old sink but I didn't know plumber might need something off old sink  didn't leave screws for dishwasher  to be reattached and I didn't realize dishwasher needed to be reattached  I had to have my handyman plumber come back and it cost me another $20  installed granite and backsplash.  It is beautiful and they did a beautiful installation

Better Homes is the best company I have found through Angie's List.  From the very start they were so professional and prompt.  Jesus responded to my call immediately and was the very first contractor to be able to schedule an estimate (for the very next day).  I got 5 cabinet estimates and Better Homes was the lowest price by over $5000 for the type of cabinets we wanted.  Jesus provided a detailed design for the kitchen and sent me the pictures and estimate within 24 hours.  Actually, all of his communication was extremely prompt--sometimes within hours.
The quality of the cabinets and granite is wonderful.  The cabinets look very nice and are quite sturdy.  They also provide many high end options like pull out shelves for cabinets, wine racks, kitchen height bathroom cabinets, etc.  
They showed up on time for the scheduled job and Jesus did an excellent job preparing us for the project and confirming the plans.  We did a remodel of our kitchen and both baths without a contractor and Better Homes was hands down the easiest sub-contractor to work with.
At the end of the project, Jesus came out to do a final inspection and then when I contacted him a week later, requesting a wood pen for touch ups, he sent out a person to do the touch ups for us.
All in all, a fabulous company.  One tip: make sure you go to the showroom to see the cabinets and countertops.  They look even better in person.

We were very pleased with their granite work. They did things when they were supposed to and their workmanship was very good. It took about a month for the measuring and work.

They did a great job on my cabinets.   We quoted them after our general contractor started getting pricey with the cabinets style we wanted.   They not only came in under budget but also under the contractors original price.  13K versus 7.8K  same design and actually better cabinet with thicker wood.   We have been really impressed with Jesus, and the installer (sorry don't remember his name but think it began with  G).  They were on-time, and professional.   Jesus suggested a couple of options, and upgrades, all at reasonable prices.   Overall they were great to work with.   My kitchen looks amazing now.

Very pleased with show salesmen and work of completed install. They where running a week out to install and everything ran smoothly.
