We found a huge ball of bees on a tree trunk at 10 pm. The following morning at 7 am I called The Beekeeper (found on Angie's List) and Scott K was here 25 min. later. He had the bees eradicated by 8 am. I had been so worried about our puppy, but problem gone. We wanted the bees transferred to another location, but they had already started setting up house in our yard box. Scott explained our options very clearly, was very professional, and had an extensive knowledge about bees. I would call him again in a minute. He taught us so much about bees, can't thank him enough. You won't find a better bee removal service.

I was getting bees inside the house and did not know why.
When my house went to closing and the inspector came out, it was found that there was an Africanized hive on the roof.
Bee Keeper removed the hive and told me it would be about 10 days before all were gone.
10 days later I was still getting bees inside the house and worse than every.  I phoned and Bee Keeper came back out, retreated and the problem was resolved.
I would feel confident in using them again.

Truly awesome!! I had swarms of bees around my pool (no hive). My regular scorpion exterminator said they couldn't do anything and suggested I spray them with soapy water, but there was just too many, so I tried a few homemade repellants i found on line but nothing worked...I finally found the beekeeper during an online search and decided to give them a call. They came out that day, sprayed around my pool and presto, no more bees! Awesome!!! The guy was prompt, courteous and gave me suggestions for getting rid of wasps (a friend of mine has wasp issues). Overall a fantastic experience and would gladly recommend them to others!!.... A little pricy but truly, money well spent!

I was generally happy with the Beekeeper, except for two issues. I didn't get any other quotes, but I felt that $1,500 was high for and quot;exterior onlyand quot; removal.

Second, I know they did a lot of work on the interior for only $350, but they left a lot of honey in the walls and didn't want to come back to fix it.

We had a new hive that established itself inside of our rafter area of our patio roof. They had entered in through a crack in the stucco.

Unfortunately, there was no safe way to remove and save the hive. So, employing The Beekeeper, we had them exterminated and the hive removed.

Cost breakdown was:

$100 for the extermination of the bees

$800 for the demolition, removal and repair of the area

In terms of the company, they were very professional. Showed up within hours of my call and immediately offered to exterminate the bees.

Due to my schedule, we needed to wait a day to remove the hive. On that day, their team showed up early in the morning. The job required removal of a small portion of the roof for the extraction. We were lucking in that the hive was concentrated just in small area in the rafter; and had not migrated down the wall (and no honey had seeped down the wall). They were able to remove the hive within in a hour. The repair crew had repaired the hole in the roof, resealed the tarpaper, reset the roofing tiles, patched the holes in the stucco and finally, repainted the stucco. Total work time was about 3 hours.

Their work carries a 3-year warranty.

We are very pleased with their work and would use them again.

It went very well. Luckily we caught them before they could hive. She was very knowledgeable and told us that they were actually scouts returning from a pollen hunt. They had come to out house instead of where there hive actually was. She also informed us to check the neighborhood as the actual house the hive was in would be a similar structure facing very close to the same polar orientation as ours. That the bees were actually lost and trying to get back to the hive before night fall.
She treated the zone and then a few other areas they may try to enter through.

They had to cut out stucco where the bees had gotten into, clean out the honeycombs, and they re-stuccoed/ re-painted the house the very next day. They came right away on the day we called them and were concious of our tight schedule.

Because of a large number of bees around my front door, I could no longer enter or leave my house without having bees swarming around me. My neighbor suggested I call The Bee Keeper to help deal with the problem. My phone call was immediately answered and they sent Kevin to my house in less than 20 minutes. When I met Kevin at the door, he knew immediately why I called. I showed him the spot above the garage where most of the bees seemed to be concentrated and he told me to go back inside and wait while he investigated. Kevin donned the traditional beekeeper gear, set a ladder up against my garage and proceeded to examine the situation on top of my garage. As I waited, I couldn't see Kevin but I could hear drilling taking place from time to time. Soon, Kevin was back at my door and informed me that he had located the source of the problem. It seems the bees had located a small opening in the stucco in the wall of the house above the garage. From there, they had moved in and built a sizable hive. After exterminating the bees, Kevin returned to explain to me that I could leave it at that but that I should consider going a step further and having work done to eliminate the hive itself. Kevin explained that if I left the hive, with the summer heat coming, more than likely, the hive would melt and I would soon find wax and honey dripping down the inside of the wall of my house and coming out on the carpet and/or wood floor. He recommended that I have someone cut a hole in the stucco and remove the hive. I agreed to have the company do just. The following day, a worker showed up and cut a hole in the stucco approximately 4 feet by 5 feet. Approximately 100 pounds of hive and honey were removed and I was informed that there was no insulation in the wall which is what made the problem so severe. After thoroughly removing all traces of the bees, the worker put in insulation and then replaced the section of stucco. All in all, Kevin and the folks from The Bee Keeper were very responsive, took the time to explain everything in detail with absolutely no pressure, were very professional and cleaned up completely. They may not be the cheapest company you can find but I wasn't willing to live with bees long enough to find someone cheaper. Frankly, I couldn't be happier with the quality of service I received. I would use them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a bee problem.

First contact with Bee Keeper Total Bee Control the owner of company answered the phone quote. of 1,200 - 1,500 I went with them, --Company completed job in 4-5 hours of actual work. so it is high hourly salary.. (The owner doesn't do the actual bee work but has employee working), he explained bee removal/ hive removal 2 part process. The bees were already dead by prior work done with another pest company.
Price quote was accurate at completion. The company's workers are the key to brilliant job. Smart at finding exact bee hive sitting..the house didn't need to be torn apart. I also called Desert Sky Pest Control they were less costly. I got confused and didn;t hire Desert Sky .because of having to work with schedules. But I would definietly use Desert Sky or Bee Keeper again.

Prior to hiring this company I called aa africanized bee or some name similar. Phone rep said what may happen if you let the bee hive grow. worse case scenario. I decided not to hire them because of unknown cost and I felt helpless on making a decision because of . myself imaging a scary huge bee mess.

So in order of greatness of contacts 1) Bee Keeper total bee control 2) Desert Sky Pest Control. (less money)
I would consider hiring a self employed individual next time, a 1 man company (someone who knows carpentry and bee removal ) with lower price and insures himself against injury on your property.. It is time consuming looking for this type of company Hint: as long as the workers are at the house if you have exterior paint, get it ready the workers could touch up the area where honey discolored stucco.

An arborist pruning our trees advised us we had bees in our roof. Our pest control company recommended The Bee Keeper to take care of this problem. The Bee Keeper was very prompt and professional in taking care of this and did the work for the cost they quoted. They also went above and beyond expectation when they noticed problems with some of our roof tiles slipping and took photos to alert us to this problem. I would call them again if we had more bee problems.
