"I looked thru our customers file and find no record of this customer either by name, phone number,or address,so I'm assuming this review is a mistake as this person isn't one of our customers."
wrong!!! I brought in a 3yr old 55? plasma that lost it's picture and paid $450.00 to repair it.
One of the video boards went bad and needed to be replaced.
The unit worked for 3 weeks and then no picture again. Took it back and was told that the same video
board went bad again and it was covered under the very small warranty (30 days
labor & 90 days for parts) offered.
Upon picking up the set the owner (Tim Hoffman) assured me that it was
very rare for something like this to happen and that he also installed an
upgrade to the board so that it wouldn?t happen again. Guess what?
After 75 days no picture!!
Again loaded up the big TV and drove 30 minutes to Arizona
Audio Electronics for a third time and dropped it off. Was told that the same board failed and that
the 90 warranty clock began with the first replacement board and thus no
warranty and I would have to pay for the repair AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Told the owner no thank you (don?t want to
have to pay for another repair in maybe another few months) and picked up the TV
and other then saying hi he said nothing.
Not I?m sorry this happened again etc?
This business has either a bad supplier of parts (which they
should address and stand up for their customers) or they are repairing the
boards in-house with cheap parts and over charging with the premise that they
are replacing the boards. The shop is
very small and dirty looking so they must be operating on a shoe string
budget.
Very poor and expensive customer service experience. This is not how you run a business and treat
customers.
"This customers TV went out after the warranty had expired, we offered to give him a discount on parts and labor as a good faith to try and please the customer, and help, but he declined. We have been in business in this same location over 32 years now and we try and take care of customers, that's how you stay in business for over 32 years, by taking care of your customers, few businesses are around as long as we have been. Customer satisfaction is our goal and we try hard."
"We gave you an estimate on the repair before we repaired it and you agreed to the repair price and had no problems with the price and the camcorder was repaired fast and was warrantied. If the amount was too much you could have declined the estimate and we would have understood, however you ok'd it and said you were happy with the service when you picked the camcorder up.I don't understand the "ripped off" part ?"
