AQUATEC FOUNTAINS & PONDS

We are still working on this project but, so far, we're pleased with the people we are working with. They seem to enjoy their work and have positive attitudes. We have asked for a bit of additional work, which has extended the finish date. The above comments will probably go up, depending on how things finish out.

I contacted Aquatec about the removal of a malfunctioning pond/waterfall feature in my back yard. My telephone call was answered right away, and an appointment for an estimate was scheduled. Chad Warner was prompt in arriving for the appointment. He was very thorough in examining the grounds and evaluating what would be involved in the removal. His evaluation included the capping of pipes and electrical lines, the demolition of the water feature, as well as filling and surfacing options. He answered my every question pertaining to the entire job, including questions other water feature experts had not been able to answer. Within a day, I received a written estimate for the work to be done.
    Work was scheduled to begin the next Wednesday and commenced without delay. Throughout the entire project, Chad, at his own initiative, sent photo updates of the progress. He promptly answered every question I had, by phone, email, and/or text message. His manner remained polite, patient, and good-humored throughout. His experience in such work as well as his continued accessibility gave me much confidence in the successful completion of this project. What was projected to be done in three days was done in two. The property was left clean, and Chad and his team made sure that the surfacing matched the existing gravel. The back yard now seems larger. One cannot tell that a water feature had ever been there.
     As was not true with other contractors I contacted, an Aquatec representative always answered the phone when I called?before, during, and after the project. Office staff members John and Heather were invariably cordial and efficient in their dealings with me. Billing invoices were updated as needed and sent to me promptly. I could not have been more pleased in my dealings with Aquatec, Chad Warner in particular!

It was horrible!  I can't tell you how many times I was stood up for appointments.  If I charged them for my time, they would owe me money.  One fountain is leaking terribly and I am having problems with the other.  Excuses and excuses.  Very unprofessional and unreliable.

I really hate to leave a negative review but am doing so in hopes that this company get's it together.  Our Aquatec built fountain needed repairs.  To me it seemed to make sense that the people who built it would be the best folks to make the repairs. Unfortunately, rarely have seen a company as unprofessional as Aquatec.  I first contacted Aquatec by filling out their service request form on their web site.  Weeks went by and no response. So I then called and left a message.  No reply. I  finally spoke to someone and was pleased that they sent a crew out the following week.  The crew told me to expect a quote in a few days and that they could do the repairs the following week. Unfortunately weeks went by I never heard from Aquatec.  So, I made a follow up call and was told that they would call me back. You guessed it, they did not call back. Strangely, about a month later Aquatec left a message that they had an opening and could come out to my house the following day and do the repairs,  However, they still hadn't  provided a quote for work.  Anyway, I was out of town so called them back and left a message.  Once again, no return phone call.   So after three months, I gave up and hired someone else.

Brian did an excellent job and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  We were having trouble with the motor in our backyard waterfall and thought we would need a new one.  Brian came and repaired the existing motor, checked everything out and it has been working perfectly since then.  We had also used Brian last year to replace the float valve.  He is very reasonable and very competent.  We will use him in the future.

We initially had to wait a week for the initial evaluation. After that, everything went very smoothly. Brian is a great prson to deal with. He answered our questions and offered advice. He was very friendly and professional.

I had the water leveler installed by another company who did an acceptable job, but was not able to stay and test it and make further adjustments. I'll go back to Aquatec for help on how to adjust it myself or have them come out.
