"I do believe context will help explain a lot of how the situation came about. The appointment was booked in our office on Tuesday September 4, for Thursday September 6, 2 days later from 1-3 pm. When our technician was inspecting his calls for the day on Thursday morning, he did remember the location of this call. The washer is located outside on a commercial site for a porta potty rental company. Our technician had been out just over a year ago and knew the surrounding of where the washer was. He was not comfortable, due to sanitary reasons, to look at the washer. Once being told of the situation, I instructed the office to let the customer know as soon as possible that we could not look at the washer any longer. If at any time my technicians relay that they do not want to do a job for health or safety reasons I will never force them to do the job. The safety and well being of my technicians are paramount and I will not compromise on that. It is unfortunate and frustrating I know that we were only able to tell [Member Name Removed] on Thursday morning the situation. But we honestly did call out of courtesy and being upfront about the situation as soon as we could. We could have just not shown up or even come to the property and then charged a service call stating the unsanitary nature, but that is not how we operate. I did call [Member Name Removed] personally and try to explain the situation more fully and apologize about the situation. All we did was try and respectful decline going out without going into the very specific details, as it is not very comfortable talking about human waste. But as with all feedback, I will use it to better my company, and will put policies in place to mitigate any issues going forward in regard to residential appliances on commercial properties. Thank you for your time."
